Astronomers have prepared exciting news for all lovers of unusual space spectacles. According to scientists, in April, the asteroid 2016 EH157, the size of a skyscraper, will approach our planet. It will not create any danger, since the maximum approach will be approximately 26 distances of the Moon and the Earth.
According to preliminary estimates, the diameter of the celestial body is 400 meters, which is 20 times larger than the famous Chelyabinsk meteorite. Now astronomers are trying to figure out the approximate route by which 2016 EH157 will fly to Earth, but it is already clear that after our planet, the celestial body will visit Mercury.
You can expect an asteroid in the sky on April 10, although scientists have not yet figured out at what time and in which direction it will be visible. A few weeks earlier, NASA experts reported that the celestial body 2013 TX68, which does not exceed 30 meters in size, will crash into the Earth, so most of the asteroid will most likely burn up in the atmosphere.
