Contacts of earthlings with aliens end in different ways. Some aliens immediately deprive them of their senses, people, having come to their senses, do not remember anything and only then they learn that they have "dropped out" from life for several hours, and sometimes even days!
Others are subjected to lengthy and sometimes painful examinations with the taking of various kinds of samples. Still others, who, according to earthly concepts, are on the verge of death, are brought back to life by the "advanced" older brothers in reason.
Dr. Walter Andrews, former director of the MUFON (Mutual UFO Network) International Department, tells about one such miracle cure.
In early March 1973, Randall George, a farm owner near Berryville in the US state of Arkansas, left for Houston on business. It was a warm, sunny spring day, and Randall's wife Joanne, left alone, decided to start pruning apple trees in the large orchard behind the house, especially since this annual procedure was long overdue not only to start, but also to complete.
Joan, a short, fragile woman, with difficulty pulled a heavy three-meter ladder out of the shed, leaned its upper part against the branches of a nearby apple tree and, with scissors in hand, began to climb the steps. When she got to the very top, the branches of the apple tree suddenly sprung up and pushed the stairs back. From a height of about two and a half meters, Joan fell to the ground on her back, and a heavy staircase collapsed on top of her. The woman fainted.
Hopeless situation
When Joan woke up, she saw a large dark red spot spread on her beige sweatpants in the right thigh area. At one time, she graduated from a nursing school, so she immediately determined that she had received an open fracture of her right leg and a fragment of the thigh bone, piercing the soft tissues and skin, came out, and therefore there was such severe bleeding.

The sun was already setting, so she lay unconscious for several hours. Joan had no strength to get out from under the stairs that pressed her to the ground, and she realized that she would soon die here from loss of blood without help. The unhappy woman tried to shout, call for help, but, apparently, her voice was very weak, and no one heard her. She decided that she was doomed to die and began to pray.
Probably another hour passed. It began to get dark. Joan, resigned to her hopeless situation, began to fall into oblivion.
Suddenly, in the depths of the garden, two persons appeared, whom, due to their strange appearance, she at first took for local hippies, noting to herself that they were moving in a strange way, as if they were floating in the air. As the personalities approached, she realized from their faces, figures and clothes that they were not like any of those "varieties" of hippies that she had seen until now.
The first to approach her was a little man a little over a meter tall, a very puny physique, with a disproportionately large head and piercing gaze of huge black eyes. On a brownish-gray face, a tiny nose with barely visible nostrils was barely visible, and there was a narrow slit in the place of the mouth. Nothing like ears was visible. On the sides of the little man's body hung disproportionately long (by human standards) arms, ending in hands with four very long and thin fingers with pointed nails. The brushes looked like they were missing a thumb.
The legs of the men were short, they did not seem to have a knee joint and could not bend when walking. But this, apparently, was not necessary, since both visitors moved, sliding above the ground itself and not touching it, they seemed to float through the air. At the same time, no traces were left on the ground, and the grass did not even duck.
The man who approached Joan first, the taller of the two, was dressed in a kind of tight-fitting blue-gray jumpsuit with wide cuffs on the sleeves that tightly wrapped around the wrists. On the little man's feet, she saw brown, child-sized boots, suede-looking, and on his head, a small cap that looked like a yarmulke. He put his hand to Joan's cheek and she felt that his fingers were very cold and rough, as if wrapped with sandpaper.
And suddenly Joan realized that she was hearing the voice of this creature, but not with her ears, but as if it sounded right in her head. The voice was very high-pitched, pleasant timbre, but with a mechanical tinge, like some "positive" robots from TV science fiction series.
The second creature was half a head shorter than the first, with the same figure and facial features, large black eyes, only the skin on his face was all wrinkled, and his voice sounded like that of a small child. And this little man was dressed differently. His overalls were like a combination of pieces of corrugated hoses of different diameters, connected into one whole: the body was covered by a hose with a larger diameter, arms and legs - hoses with a smaller diameter. When the little man bent down, the corrugations were straightened from behind, and compressed in front. Similarly, the appearance of the sleeves changed when the creature bent its arms at the elbows.
Feeling the voices of the little men in her mind, Joanne, seized with despair, began to beg them to help her get out from under the cursed stairs, although she did not hope that she, with her injury, would be able to do it with the help of two such flimsy-looking assistants. However, they easily removed the ladder from her and dragged aside, after which the taller one - apparently, he was in charge - invited her to stand on her feet. Joan pointed to the blood stain on her trousers and said that she could not do it, but the chief persistently repeated his request. Then she tried to get up, and, to her amazement, was able to stand up quite easily, almost without pain.
Joint dinner did not take place
Feeling immensely relieved and overflowing with gratitude for her rescuers, Joan invited them into the house so that they could all have dinner together. She thought to herself how well she could feed such puny-looking children with delicious homemade food. But the saviors politely rejected her offer, saying that they could only eat juice, not solid foods. Joan mentally "walked" through the contents of the refrigerator: there, in addition to all the food, were jars of orange, grape and tomato juice, as well as canned apples and peaches.
But before she had time to start listing her reserves, the chief, after reading her thoughts, said: "Unfortunately, juices of this kind are not suitable for us." Very upset that she had not been able to thank the strange people for her rescue, Joan asked when she could see them again. The answer puzzled her somewhat. They said they "don't know for sure because they don't fly this trade route often."
Mysterious souvenir
Saying goodbye, the little men gave Joan a souvenir - a round object with a diameter of about five centimeters, similar to a medallion and having a bow at the top, like a pocket watch. The outer circumference of the medallion was a ring with evenly spaced through holes, and in its central part there was a convex figure resembling a beetle lying on a V-shaped support surrounded by small rings.
The medallion is made of metal and coated with oxides similar to rust. Subsequently, the locket was given to the Texas ufologist, MUFON member George Wood, who tried to understand the symbols depicted on the locket and understand their meaning. Whether he succeeded in this is unknown.
With Joan's consent, a small piece of material was “bitten off” from the medallion, and John Schuessler, then director of the MUFON International Division, officially handed it over to NASA for research. But, as you know, NASA is very reluctant to deal with UFOs. It seems that the study of this sample was taken carelessly there. Schuessler soon got it back, saying that it was a material very similar to hart, a lead-tin alloy used in typography to cast fonts.
But even with a simple eye it is clear that this is hardly the case, since there are traces of rust on the medallion, which means that the material contains a significant amount of iron. It is noteworthy that NASA refused to give a written opinion on the analysis results.
Everything ends well
As for Joan's injuries as a result of the accident, it was indeed an open hip fracture, but when she, at the urgent request of the main rescuer and rescuer, got to her feet, the pieces of the broken bone inexplicably "fell into place" and no longer separated. At the same time, the bleeding stopped by itself, and a deep wound in the soft tissues, punctured by a fragment of bone, began to quickly heal. A week later, only a 10-centimeter pink scar reminded Joan of the dramatic fall.
