Scientists from the Federal Republic of Germany have proposed their own strategy for the search for extraterrestrial intelligence, which, in their opinion, will help quickly find representatives of alien civilizations in space.
Employees of the Institute for the Study of the Solar System in Göttingen are convinced that their proposed method of searching for aliens is very effective. According to the German media, its essence lies in "wiretapping" exoplanets, where extraterrestrial life could potentially exist, in order to catch any signals from aliens.
Currently, German experts are focused on developing a system for "point" wiretapping of planets. Scientists believe that, first of all, it is necessary to focus on cosmic bodies located within our reach. Around the solar system, according to their estimates, there are a huge number of planets where our "brothers in mind" can hypothetically live.
But German experts propose not to be limited to one "wiretapping" of the planets, but to send signals from the Earth in specific directions so that they can be detected by alien races, which may then themselves come into contact with earthlings.
