The hypothetical "planet X", which exists, as some scientists assume, somewhere beyond Pluto's orbit, is fraught not with a threat, but with the hope of salvation.
“In a few billion years, the evolution of our Sun will lead to the fact that it will swell to incredible sizes and simply burn the Earth. Humanity (if it still exists, of course) will have to look for a new home. And this is where the very planet X comes in handy! True, we do not yet know for sure whether it really exists, or is it just speculation based on inaccurate calculations,”the scientists say.
If the Sun increases in size, then its habitable zone, respectively, will move to the periphery of the solar system.
Where, in addition to the hypothetically existing "Planet X", there are definitely such planets as Pluto. Which, as a result of the shift of the habitable zone, can suddenly become quite suitable for life.
As for the elusive planet X, astronomers gazing intently into the black void of space still cannot find it even approximately. That is, it is likely that it does not exist.
Because all assumptions about the existence of this planet are based on some oddities in the movement of asteroids and comets in the Oort cloud.
