The English resort town of Blackpool in Lancashire is one of the most visited UFO destinations in the United Kingdom. Unidentified flying objects are noticed here almost every week. Therefore, there is nothing surprising in the fact that local ufologists decided to open a hotline for witnesses to the appearance of "flying saucers".
Tim Bartrop, 52, who founded the Lancashire UFO Society in his youth, believed that his fellow countrymen would be more interested in UFOs and the topic of aliens if they were given the opportunity to easily report their observations to specialists. This, according to Bartrop, will contribute to the revival of his club, which lost almost all of its members in the last decade and therefore was closed.
Skeptics believe that over Blackpool every now and then there are not alien aircraft, but terrestrial ones. Not far from the city, there is an airfield where, among other things, experimental aircraft of the Royal Air Force of Great Britain land and take off. Nevertheless, Bartrop claims that not only airplanes are noticed in the sky, but also disco and spherical flying objects, obviously not created by people. The ufologist says:
Representatives of the UK Department of Defense say that anyone can contact them if they spot a UFO. But why? Where does this information go? Where can you read it, view it in the public domain? Does someone in the ministry keep an appropriate register for the public? I think no. That is why we are opening such an unusual hotline in Blackpool. We will carefully sort all the data on UFO sightings in our city, analyze the sent video materials and publish all this on our website.
Tim claims to have seen "flying saucers" here many times. According to the specialist, the last time it happened was less than two months ago. Bartrop and his colleague went out of town, away from light pollution, pitched a tent in nature and began to look at the sky. Less than three hours later, a huge pentagonal object appeared above, glowing in blue. Our heroes immediately grabbed their cameras, but the UFO managed to fly away instantly and at the same time completely silently, and even professional ufologists failed to capture it in photographs or videos.
