On the American social site Reddit, a topic was created where people, confident that they were abducted by aliens, shared their stories. Some told that in their lives there were cases with the mysterious loss of time, others even observed aliens with their own eyes and communicated with them telepathically.

At the beginning of the topic, it was written “If you sincerely think that aliens once abducted you, tell us how it happened” with a request to take the topic seriously, not to write fables, not to joke in the comments, etc.

- Not my story, but what happened to my father-in-law and his friends, - writes the user preggomuhegggggo, - He assures that they were kidnapped and swears that all this is true. It happened during a camping trip in the Northern Appalachians, there were four of them. They reached the lake, made a halt, had lunch and … what happened next, none of the four could later remember. They just woke up at the same time and found themselves ten meters from their original campsite. Together with their belongings and tents. But in the center of the new camp there was a fire, and they did not make a fire in the original place. They found a measuring tape in their backpack and measured the distance between the tents in the old place and the new one, and it suddenly turned out to be exactly the same values. My father-in-law is not mentally ill and does not use drugs, but he still refuses to take this route.

Another user with the nickname Pun-Chi is not sure if he was actually abducted by aliens, but he had a strange experience that he cannot explain to anything else and which he believes was related to aliens.

- I was then still a schoolboy, it was a hot summer evening and I was getting ready for bed. I remember sitting down on the bed and had a premonition that something bad was about to happen. I felt that it was very close, that it was something terrible, as if my body understood it, but my mind could not yet realize it. I sat on the bed for no more than a few seconds, then slowly turned to look around the room and suddenly realized that it was already morning. I was still dressed. A second ago it was night and I felt horror, and suddenly the morning of the next day came and according to my feelings only one second passed. I went downstairs and tried to tell others about what had happened, but they listened to me as if I were talking about the grass on the lawn, and so I gave up trying to share what excited me.

User TheLittleCas, before telling his story, complains that people laugh when they listen to his story, they think that all this is fiction.

- Once I watched a horror movie about aliens and for some reason it scared me to death. So much so that I couldn't sleep well for six months. I was 16 years old. Then I hardly slept for several days and maybe it was all a hallucination, but it looked very real. A white owl flew in from the window and sat on the end of my bed. The last thing I remember was how she came up to me. I woke up the next day feeling like I had slept well, but I found a few bruises on my body. It was all so strange, I had never had a problem sleeping before.

User zoeywilsonn says that his case was six years ago and he still remembers it because it upset him and his mother so much.

Promotional video:

- I was 14 or 15 years old and I slept in my room. Suddenly in the middle of the night I woke up and looked at my phone to find out what time it was. It was one in the morning. I remember. that at that moment I was not thinking about anything, I just sat and stared blankly at the wall of my bedroom, as if my brain was asleep, but my body was gone. So it took about two minutes and suddenly upset mom ran into my room. At that moment, my trance state completely disappeared.

Mom said that she suddenly felt that she urgently needed to come here and check if everything was all right with me. When she left, I looked at the time again and it was 4:37! That is, I sat and stared at the wall for three hours! To this day, I don't understand what it was, why I did it and what woke my mom up and so alarmed that she ran to my room.

User kevon87 said that from childhood he had the strongest irrational fear when he saw the image of the so-called Gray Aliens (Grace).

- My hair on the back of my head stands up when I saw it on TV or in magazines. If I saw a book with a picture of them, I asked to turn it upside down. I have no idea where this phobia came from, but I have a suspicion that I was kidnapped as a child. I have never seen a UFO and I have no recollection of an abduction, but there is something that I would call a strange experience. I was 6 or 7 years old then and I was traveling to Washington with my mother on the train.

I remember how I lay at night and looked out the window and suddenly realized that it was not night, but day had come and I was looking at the daylight. My mother was acting strange and all the people on the train were kind of nervous. Another incident was when I was a teenager. I woke up in the night and was completely paralyzed and at that moment I heard a strange fading sound. A random thought flashed through my head: Thank God they are leaving.

User TommyVillain wrote in the comments to this story that he is also very frightened by the images of gray aliens: "I am a 35-year-old man, but this reaction has not changed since I was a small child."

User Termi89 is sure that the aliens abducted him several times and that he communicated with them telepathically.

- This has probably happened every 2-3 years since I turned eight. They just examined me, there were no operations and they behaved like curious people. They telepathically asked me how I was doing and how I was feeling. The last kidnapping was about 6 months ago. I remember that I woke up and saw figures entering the house through my bedroom window without waking my girlfriend and the dogs. One of them seemed to me interested in one of my dogs, but something scared him away.

The DiscoCat81 user says that she had a very unpleasant feeling, as if she had been raped and saw a gray shadow.

- I lay in my bed and looked at the reflection in the mirror on my dressing table. I thought I saw there a tall gray figure standing by my bed. Suddenly I noticed some movement and I was so scared that I could not move and look at the edge of the bed. I saw that something had climbed onto my bed and I remember the feeling of horror. I heard a creak from movement.

The next moment I opened my eyes and it was morning. I didn't remember anything else, and the room was empty. I felt dirty and empty. Perhaps I was kidnapped and experimented with, or I was attacked by a demon and raped me. Call me nutty and there may be a logical explanation, but I've never felt so scared and abused.

PM_ME_YOUR_GHOST_PIC started his story with the word "Scary".

- I remember when I was 9 years old I was lying in bed and could not move, and a bluish light was pouring from the window. The next moment I am flying through the window and my blanket falls to the floor. I remember that there were other children and there was a tall creature that looked like a praying mantis in a white coat. It stuck needles into my legs. It didn't hurt.

It communicated telepathically with me and promised that I would walk. I had problems with my legs as a child. Then there was a blackout and I woke up in my bed and saw a blanket on the floor. Since then, leg problems have not bothered me.

In the comments to these and other frightening stories, users made their own assumptions that maybe something told was a nightmare or sleep paralysis. There have been suggestions that the narrators were on drugs or were drunk, but the authors denied this.
