The cosmonauts flew from Washington to Moscow by plane, the flight altitude was about 10 thousand meters, when Popovich suddenly saw a triangular object not far off. According to the astronaut, the UFO was moving at an approximate speed of 1,500 km per hour, while not a single device, either on the plane or on the ground, recorded its presence. The shape of the white UFO resembled a regular triangle, Popovich clarified, as those who saw the UFO, including the members of the aircraft crew, estimated that one side of the "triangle" was about one hundred meters. The UFO overtook the earthlings' plane and disappeared from sight, Popovich said.
