The man who decided to shoot the moon caught a strange spherical object on video on July 28, 2018. The anomaly was recorded by a resident of the city of Trenton, located in the state of New Jersey (see video below).

The observer called his video "pure luck", as a white UFO appeared in the frame quite by accident, while he zoomed in with a powerful lens to look at the lunar craters.

In the frame, you can see that some kind of white or shiny sphere flew across the sky at high speed. To the credit of the amateur astronomer, he quickly reacted to the situation and caught the UFO through the lens. Unfortunately, he was able to track the object for a few seconds before it disappeared into the white ring formed around it.

Curious viewers who watched the video made a number of assumptions about the nature of the anomaly. UFO enthusiasts are sure that the mysterious sphere was an extraterrestrial ship and that the ring that appeared is the result of the activation of some kind of system that allowed the unknown ship to instantly disappear from the face of the moon.

More prosaic netizens, however, attributed the mysterious sight to the hull of the International Space Station, a piece of ice falling from an airplane, or just space debris.
