The scientists of the 20th century rejected the colonization of Venus (the planet of Love, which medieval astronomers called Lucifer) due to its complete unsuitability for human life. Recently, however, colonization of the Morning Star has been on the agenda again.

Despite the fact that on the very surface of Venus the temperature reaches 500 degrees Celsius, sunlight does not penetrate here due to dense sulfur clouds, and the atmosphere of this planet consists entirely of carbon dioxide at a pressure 93 greater than on Earth, modern researchers came to the conclusion: colonies can still be created here, only they will have to be built at an altitude of 50 kilometers.

But how can you build a city at such a height? After all, even with modern technologies to build such high piles is pure fantasy. However, scientists have found a way out: flying cities can be created on Venus. Two ways are proposed: building super-giant airships or using levitation technology, which, perhaps, will soon become available so that it can be tested on Venus.

In either case, the colonists of this unfriendly planet will have a huge plus: at this altitude, the gravity in the artificial city will be approximately the same as on Earth, which cannot be said about the Moon and Mars, where the thoughts of many space explorers are now heading.
