History is often striking in its cruelty and injustice. One of the bloodiest actions of the monarchies and the Inquisition, by right, can be considered the execution of the Knights of the Order of the Templars. But there are several more little-known versions that some of the Templars who miraculously survived settled in Russia. Moreover, they continued the activities of the order in Soviet times.

The Order of the Templars (also called the Templars) was created in 1118 by nine knight-monks. Its main purpose was to accompany and protect pilgrims traveling to the Holy Land. Later, their activities went far beyond the borders of Palestine and Syria. The Order has become a powerful organization with considerable wealth and very important government information. King Philip the Handsome saw in the face of the Templars a serious competitor who could undermine the authority of the monarch in the eyes of the people. And, after a wave of arrests on October 13, 1307, all the prisoners were executed in 1312. But, to his regret, Philip never received any money or documents. According to some reports, the arrests were not unexpected for the knights of the Order, and one of the nights, even before the start of the persecution, their treasures were taken out of Paris, loaded onto 18 galleys and taken to who knows where.

One of their very beautiful, but unconfirmed versions, says that in 1307 the Moscow prince Yuri Danilovich met 18 ships with pilgrims on board. They brought with them a lot of jewelry and gold coins. It is with this that the legend explains the dramatic transformation of Moscow from a simple district town into a powerful principality, and later into the capital. Before Moscow became the "Capital City", Templars from different countries moved to it.

The veracity of this theory is allegedly confirmed by architectural monuments. So, on the walls of the St. Danilov Monastery you can find the coat of arms of the Templars: a white square, the corners of which are cut off by four rings, and in the center is a rose with six petals.

Almost all the neo-Templars of the 20s were repressed, a lot of them never returned from exile. There were also those who, saving their lives from repression, renounced the Order, indistinctly explaining their presence there, denying their faith in the canons of society.

That's just the politics, for which the members of the Order suffered - the last thing that interested the Templars. Simply, by analyzing, rethinking the essence of the world, the person in it and the power, many people understood the wrongness of what was happening around, some were not afraid to voice their thoughts aloud.

After all, their main interest was in the victory of Light over evil, in devotion to their native land.

Now that history has already crossed several stages, many of the ideas of the Soviet Templars have found their development in science, art, occultism and esotericism. But, unfortunately, there are very few such people desperately believing in their Truth, going through all the obstacles for their faith, in the modern world. And although there is an opportunity to continue the work of the Order, there is no fanatical desire that was inherent in the "children of two revolutions."

Documents originating from the depths of secret societies always bear the imprint of a mystery. The legends of the Moscow Templars collected in this volume are no exception, and not only for their modern researcher, but also for those to whom they were once addressed.

The one entering the Order listened to the first three fundamental legends - about the Golden Staircase of the cosmos, about Atlantis and about Ancient Egypt (№№ 1.1-3). Subsequent cycles, consisting of 10-12 legends, which he listened to along with others, prepared the student to accept the next degree of initiation, accompanied by a certain rite.
