It turns out in this case there is something that, most likely, can give an answer to the question of how the unfortunate tourists died. And you can find this, directly, in the publicly available materials of the criminal case.

Now everything is in order. First of all, we will carefully review the protocol of inspection of the tourist parking place. I will say right away that I have not yet seen that someone would have noticed these details. And there the following is written: (literally)

The place to sleep is a snow-leveled area with 8 pairs of skis at the bottom. The tent is stretched out on ski poles, fixed with ropes, 9 backpacks with various personal belongings of the group members were sent out at the bottom of the tent, quilted jackets, storm-troopers were sent from above, 9 pairs of boots in their heads, men's trousers, also three pairs of felt boots were found, warm fur jackets were also found, socks, hat, ski caps, dishes, buckets, stove, axes, saw, blankets, food: crackers in two bags, condensed milk, sugar, concentrates, notebooks, a route plan and many other small things and documents and a camera and accessories the camera.

Don't you get it yet? There were only 8 pairs of skis at the bottom of the pit. Not 9 pairs, as it should have been. The question is, where is another pair of skis? There were 9 tourists in the group. All 9 bodies were found during the search. So how did the ninth tourist climb the pass if he was without skis? Walking waist-deep in deep snow? Or was he being dragged in his arms? Maybe he was injured while climbing the pass and was then carried in his arms, or dragged behind him on a blanket? It will be impossible to know whether or not. But I still found the ninth pair of skis.

Minutes of inspection of the storage facility on March 2, 1959. Camp of the search party in the Upper reaches of the river. Auspiya. In the presence of the head of the search party, Comrade Maslennikov (Sverdlovsk, Zavodskaya St., 32) and Boris Efimovich Slobtsov (Sverdlovsk, Lenin St. 13-a, uv. 23) Art. 78 of the Code of Criminal Procedure of the RSFSR, this protocol is as follows: This date, in the upper reaches of the Auspiya rivers, under the pass to the Lozva River, a storage facility (food storage) of the Dyatlov group was found.

The storehouse is located at the place where the group sleeps, well covered with cooked firewood, lined with cardboard, spruce paws. At the storage shed, skis are stuck in the snow, one pair, a ragged gaiter is hung on the toe of the ski.

This is a very important find. The ninth pair of skis remained in the snow at the storage. So its owner could no longer move independently. The further journey he made in the arms of his comrades. It is unclear only why the group did not immediately return back, abandoning further ascent.

If someone dropped out due to injury, could not go skiing, then why did they go to the pass? I think that the condition of the victim, initially, was not too serious. Dyatlov realized that it was no longer possible to go further. However, he nevertheless decided to climb to a height of 1079. Having thus completed the program at least. I think that records about this were in the diaries of the deceased members of the group, but they were removed from there, so as not to denigrate the late leader of the group. But the investigation made a mistake. Having reflected in the protocol the exact number of skis at the parking place. It is a pity that no one was interested in these details.

Promotional video:

Now about who was injured and carried in the arms of tourists. Most likely it was Semyon Zolotarev. He was dressed warmly and had belongings previously belonging to other members of the group. His hand was fixed in the camera strap. In addition, he suffered serious fractures. Apparently, he did not immediately lose consciousness, which gave Dyatlov hope that the group could climb, at least, to the slope of height 1079.

Zolotarev's skis were left at the storage. They even made a semblance of a sign out of them. Marking it with a torn gaiter. In principle, Zolotarev could be transported on the tarpaulin of the tent. They were dragged along like on a piece of tarpaulin. On ice and snow, it's not as hard as it seems.

What happened in the tent? Since the investigation removed all entries from the diaries, we can only guess about this. Of course, the incomprehensible "battle sheet" (which, in the original, no one saw) was written with the aim of misleading the regulatory authorities. The same thing happened with the mysterious fireballs, which, incidentally, were observed in March and mid-February. Investigator Ivanov and Prosecutor Tempalov did everything to adjust the findings of the investigation to the version of a natural disaster. They did it, often, clumsy and ridiculous. Thus creating a legend from scratch. Confusing everything completely.

In a tent, tired and wet tourists gathered for the night. The wounded Zolotarev was delirious, or had already disconnected from all reality. The tourists did not take firewood with them, so there was nothing to heat the tent. A conflict was brewing.

Of course, the unsuccessful romance between Kolmogorova and Doroshenko was also one of the reasons for this scandal. The same Kolmogorova could be indignant because the group continued the hike, although one member of the group was injured. And the fact that they were all half-naked is even easier to explain. Tired and frozen people were subjected to general freezing. In the initial stages of this deadly condition, people experience excitement and a perceived sensation of warmth. They do not yet have sleepiness, but their minds already refuses to perceive the world objectively.

The scandal turns into a fight. The tent is torn or cut from the inside. She can no longer shelter people from the cold. Since they no longer control themselves, people decide to go to the forest. They are carrying their comrade in their arms. In the criminal case there is such evidence of witnesses: A. A. Chernyshov.

L. 90. Beginning from the tent, 30-40 meters away, obvious, well-distinguishable footprints of people were found. The tracks stretched in parallel chains close to each other, as if people were walking holding each other. Chains of footprints stretched as if in two directions - we counted 6 or 7 pairs of footprints from the tent down into the hollow, and to the left of them, about 20 meters away, there were 2 more pairs of footprints. Then these tracks (2 and 7 pairs) meters after 30-40 came together and did not diverge any more. Now let's try to figure it out. Apparently there were 6 pairs of tracks and two pairs went separately. It was these two who carried the body of the wounded Zolotarev.

Well, the tragedy continued with the cedar. Someone tried to warm up by the fire, someone froze on the way to the cedar. Nikolai Thibault (by the way, also warmly dressed) received a head injury. Perhaps he fought with the one who started this conflict.

One way or another, you will never know. But if the investigation in this case were objective, if the surviving documents from the criminal case had not been stolen from private hands by numerous woodpeckers, if no one had destroyed the documents and evidence, then the case would have been investigated back in 1959.

However, today there is still a chance. Perhaps someone confesses to having seen the investigation materials forged in 1959. Then it will become clear that nothing mystical in this tragedy was and is not. But this is from the realm of fantasy. Of course, no one will tell us the whole truth. A very important remark.

In the criminal case, the lie of the prosecutor Tempalov emerges. Further quotes from the criminal case. Witness Interrogation Protocol

On April 18, 1959, the criminal prosecutor of the investigative department of the regional prosecutor's office ml. the counselor of justice Romanov of this date in the regional prosecutor's office interrogated

As a witness in compliance with Art. Art. 162-168 of the Code of Criminal Procedure of the RSFSR. Inspection of the tent showed me that it contains all the personal belongings of the students.

The tent was stretched out on skis and poles, driven into the snow, its entrance was facing south, and on this side the stretchers were intact, and the stretchers of the tent on the north side were torn off and the entire second half of the tent was covered with snow. An ice ax and a spare pair of skis were found near the tent. An unlit Chinese lantern was lying on the tent. In the tent were found 9 backpacks, 9 pairs of skis, of which they were all under the bottom of the tent, 8 pairs of boots, 3.5 pairs of felt boots, quilted jackets and a lot of crackers, half a bag of sugar, a large amount of concentrates, cereals, soups, etc., cocoa, axes, saw, cameras, student diaries, documents and money. At first glance, the tent was covered with snow.

***

Now let's compare. In a criminal case, the inspection report says about 8 pairs of skis and 9 pairs of boots. Prosecutor Tempalov (in the interrogation protocol) speaks of 9 pairs of skis and 8 pairs of boots. This only proves that the prosecutor does not know his criminal case and is confused by the little things. In fact, he is lying and confusing the investigation.

Even more curious is what the witness Maslennikov says. He took part in the search for the group from the UPI administration. He says (literally) that 10 (!) Pairs of skis were found, while nine pairs were under the floor of the tent. But only 8 (!) Pairs of boots were found. If so, then it turns out that along with a pair of skis found in the store, there were as many as 11 (!!!) pairs of skis. So there were not 9, but all 11 people on the pass ?! So who can you trust now?

Again, there is a clear lie. They didn't even agree with each other. They don't care how many pairs of skis there were, 8.9 or 10, or even 11 pairs. They perfectly understand that the criminal case will be closed in any case and no one will delve into it. And so it all happened.

PS I decided to supplement this article a little more. I was already told that in the photo of the Dyatlovites, nevertheless, there are all 9 pairs of skis. This picture was allegedly taken in the place of their last parking.

In fact, investigators only assumed that this was the last picture. And it was made at the site of the last parking lot. The criminal case speaks specifically about 8 pairs of skis. 9 a pair was found in the snow near a storage shed. This is objective information. All the rest is speculation and assumptions.
