According to the head of the "Memory of the Dyatlov Group" fund, Yuri Konstantinovich Kuntsevich, a document will be presented that will certify everyone that the investigating authorities knew about the tragedy on the unnamed pass long before the official search measures, and also shed light on the mystery associated with the date starting a criminal case.
On the front page of the criminal case is the date of February 6, 1959, while it was reported in official reports that the decision to initiate a criminal case was adopted on February 26, 1959.

Most likely, we are talking about a recent curious discovery that Oleg Arkhipov, a Tyumen publicist and one of the main investigators of the death of the Dyatlov group, managed to make. A couple of years ago, the writer received the personal archive of the prosecutor V. I. Korataev, one of the investigators in the case of the missing tourists. Vladimir Ivanovich meticulously collected materials related to official activities. Over the years of the prosecutor's work, there have been many interesting extracts, remarks, diaries and notes.

One of these notes, addressed to the young investigator Korotaev from his senior colleague Tempalov, contained a mention of the fact that the investigators already knew about the tragedy at the pass on February 15, 1959, despite the fact that the official search began only on February 22, 1959.
“Handwriting examinations have already been carried out, everything coincided. They were investigated by our experts and Moscow experts. It has been proven that the prosecutor of Ivdel wrote this, wrote to his assistant Korotaev. We have heard all the names, they participated in the investigation. This changes a lot,”noted Yu. K. Kuntsevich in an interview with the RIA Novosti agency.

Based on the newly discovered circumstances, the researchers suggested that long before the arrival of the official group of search engines, departmental persons visited the scene and carried out the necessary investigative actions, as well as a set of measures to hide the traces of the true cause of the tragedy. In short, the popular investigation once again takes a bias towards conspiracy theorists. However, it is too early to draw conclusions, but I hope that the version will be more serious than the stories "about evil KGB officers and American spies."
