This truly incredible event took place on July 14, 1911. On this day, a steam locomotive with three carriages, which accommodated 106 passengers, departed from one of the platforms of the railway station in Rome. The purpose of this trip was the most ordinary one: the respected public wanted to inspect a kilometer-long tunnel made in the mountains of Lombardy - a structure unique for that time …

The train reached its intended destination a few hours later. Finally, here is the tunnel. The train, slightly slowing down, rolled into the narrow mouth of a long corridor and … seemed to evaporate.

First, the railwaymen, and then the police, inspected the tunnel inch by inch. However, no signs of a train wreck were found.

But the police suddenly saw two men walking slowly towards them along the railway tracks. When the men got close enough to see their faces, the guards realized that they were in a state of shock.

A little later, after coming to their senses, they were able to tell the following story. According to them, as soon as the train began to approach the tunnel, it was suddenly enveloped in a milky white haze. And with every moment it became denser until it turned into a viscous liquid. Terrified, the passengers jumped out of the carriage. We can say that they were lucky, because at that time they were in the vestibule.

It would be very difficult to believe in this mystical story, but there is documented evidence of eyewitnesses that it took place.

It should be said that there is one more curious moment in this whole story. One might think that the Italian public showed considerable interest in such an unusual event as the sudden and traceless disappearance of a train with quite influential passengers. However, oddly enough, the incredible story did not receive much publicity. Everything was limited to just a few notes in local newspapers and a couple of lines in the world media. And that's all. As if nothing had happened. The police, in turn, also rushed to file the case …

It would seem that this is the incredible story with the loss of the train in the tunnel should have ended. And perhaps she would never have been remembered again, if not for a number of no less strange cases, in which the Italian train was also present. And even before the tragedy in July 1911.

The fact is that in the 40s of the 19th century, 104 Italians unexpectedly appeared in the capital of Mexico, dressed not according to the then fashion. But even that was not what confused the Mexicans. The citizens seemed very suspicious of their statements that they all arrived in Mexico City from Rome by train. Naturally, such statements of the Italians did not go unnoticed by the guardians of the law. Therefore, soon the unlucky travelers ended up in a psychiatric hospital, run by the famous psychiatrist Jose Saxino.

However, most of the mysterious train appeared in different parts of the world after 1911.

So, on an October night in 1955, near Balaklava (Crimea), the road worker P. G. Ustimenko noticed how a steam locomotive with three carriages, the windows of which were tightly curtained, moved without the slightest noise along the old embankment, on which there were no rails. And the driver was not in the cab. By the way, the battleship Novorossiysk exploded on the same day.

Especially often a ghost train appears in Italy, as if some unknown force pulls him to his native place. It usually occurs on abandoned railroad embankments.

For example, late in August 1964, he was seen by an elderly Italian Bruno Angeli. It happened half a kilometer from the old railway bridge. At this time, the wife went to sleep in the tent, and Angeli stayed by the stream to observe the beauty of the summer night. At this time, the fog that enveloped everything around, suddenly dissipated, and a kind of tunnel formed in it, in which the old railway embankment with a train on the bridge clearly stood out. In just a few seconds, the train started to move, and the carriages, one after another, floated into the fog.

There is evidence that a phantom train was seen in 1986 in a tunnel under the English Channel.

It is also said that in 1994, a ghost train also made itself felt. It happened in late autumn in the Irkutsk region at the Polovina station. Somewhere around midnight, a young man, leaving the station building on an empty platform, saw a locomotive of clearly old construction. It bore a half-erased inscription in large Latin letters. The witness also noticed a conductor in a dark uniform suit of a strange cut.

On the basis of these facts, it is rather difficult to say: is everything "seen" by the witnesses - the fruit of their fantasy played out, or a journalistic duck, or is it really an anomalous phenomenon? At least the discoveries made in recent years prove that there are places on Earth with changed times. Moreover, according to scientists, in the chronal field after natural cataclysms, the same faults can occur as in the earth's crust. But shortly before July 14 in Italy there was a powerful earthquake near Messina. Perhaps it was then that the chronal hole formed as a result of the earthquake concentrated over a giant tunnel and transferred that train from our space to some other. Therefore, the train began to move freely in time.

This, as the well-known researcher of anomalous phenomena V. A. Chernobrov, the metal network of railways can also contribute, which webs around the planet and in a certain way affects the natural geophysical field of the Earth. And perhaps for the passage of time. Very long tunnels, significant shaft depths and tall towers can have the same effect on timing.
