A British teenager will forever remember a tour of a military cemetery in Neuville-Saint-Remy, France, as he accidentally captured the appearance of a Scottish soldier's ghost among the graves.

14-year-old teenager Mitch Glover from the British city of Royal Lemington Spa came to France as part of a school excursion to familiarize with war graves from the First World War.

During a visit to the German military cemetery, which is located in the commune of Neuville-Saint-Remy, the student took several pictures, intending to keep the best one in memory.

Arriving home, Mitch immediately began to examine the images obtained, when he suddenly noticed on one of them a ghostly figure standing near the grave.

“We are studying the literature of the First World War, so I took part in a tour of the war graves of that time,” the 14-year-old Briton told the Mail Online tabloid. - When I photographed the military cemetery on my phone, I did not feel anything special, that is, I was not afraid. In a hurry, I took a few pictures in order to select the best later, and forgot about them until I returned home. It was only while sitting on the couch in my room that I finally examined them and realized that I had managed to photograph a ghost. Of course, I immediately told my mother about this, which surprised her a lot."

The teenager and his parent, 50-year-old Sue, carefully studied the picture and came to the conclusion that it captured the ghost of a soldier who served during the First World War.

“When my son came running to me with this news, I didn’t believe him at first, but after looking closely at the figure in the photograph, I realized that he was right,” Sue says. “We looked at other images, but they were nothing but crosses. The ghostly figure did not look like a German soldier, and I noted that she was clearly out of place in a German cemetery. And later a friend of mine said that the ghost looked like a rifleman in the Seaforth Scottish regiment, and I got his point. Indeed, it seemed that the ghost of a soldier still guards the graves of all the fallen soldiers."

Now Mitch is sure that he managed to capture the ghost-guardian of the military cemetery.
