27-year-old British resident Laura Dixon from Kent County found a ghost in one of the local churches by a terrible smell and was able to photograph him, writes The Mirror.
In the UK, people often claim to have seen a ghost. However, Laura feels them. She says she begins to smell a strong, persistent smell, similar to the one that comes from a rotten fish when something bad is about to happen.
According to her, she has had such a supernatural gift since childhood. She also loves to take pictures and often wanders through abandoned places, churches and cathedrals to replenish her collection with new beautiful pictures.
While near the church, Laura suddenly felt a very pungent smell emanating from one window, and when she came closer, she noticed a mysterious white figure in the church, although this building is abandoned and there are no services and no visitors. Then the mysterious silhouette disappeared.
When the girl returned home to view the pictures on a laptop, she found that she had still managed to photograph the ghost. She is convinced that she captured the real ghost of a monk. She told this story to the local newspaper, many people began to convince her that the ghost is just a deceptive play of light, but Laura continues to insist on her own.

However, experts have found a simpler explanation. An expert in video surveillance systems Pavel Sikora is sure that the appearance of a strange shadow is a consequence of the automatic switching of the camera from day to night shooting.
“This is not quite a typical manifestation of this process, but the most plausible explanation for the situation,” he said.
