Among the many finds made over the years, there were many stumbling blocks that researchers from all over the world would say: "It can't be!" Some of these discoveries contradict established scientific data about humanity, its origin and ancient civilizations that inhabited our planet in the distant past.

It is becoming popular to believe that ancient civilizations were more advanced than most researchers imagine.

Numerous maps discovered in the past clearly indicate only one thing: the story told by scientists is incomplete, there are missing links in it. These gaps are able to fill in amazing ancient maps, proving that, contrary to the data of official science, humanity has existed on earth longer than it is written about in textbooks.

The very presence of these maps demonstrates the fact that the ancient researchers had a well-developed system of cartography, comparable in importance only to the modern one. Humanity already then knew exactly the shape and size of the Earth, used spherical trigonometry and complex mathematical calculations. Thousands of years ago, an unknown civilization completed a world-scale project - it captured the entire planet on a map.

One of the most mysterious is the Zeno card. Discovered around 1380, the mysterious map depicts the coasts of modern countries such as Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Germany, and Scotland with astonishing accuracy. In the most incomprehensible way, it indicates the EXACT latitude and longitude of many islands on our planet. This is at least strange, because the device that measures longitude - the chronometer - was invented only in 1765. But that's not all. Zeno's map also depicts Greenland without ice, which means it was created by a pre-glacial cartographer.

Map of Canerio. Created in 1502, it does not depict any fantastic lands, which is what many contemporary maps have sinned. But there is one strange detail. Kanerio's map uses a spherical coordinate grid, and this despite the fact that in the Middle Ages, people still believed that the Earth … is flat.

Map of Yehudi Ibn Ben Zara (1487). Undoubtedly, this is another card that is simply breathtaking. Created in 1487, it shows the remains of glaciers in Britain and also contains detailed descriptions of the islands in the Mediterranean and Aegean Seas. Today these islands still exist, but due to the rising water level, they are completely flooded.

Haji Ahmed's map, printed in 1559, shows extremely accurate coastlines on the west coast of North America and Antarctica. Moreover, it depicts a piece of land connecting Siberia and Alaska (that is, the map was drawn up long before the 16th century - at the time when this strip of land still existed).

In 1737, Philippe Bouache's map was published, which, presumably, was compiled on the basis of more ancient sources. It depicted a continent that had not yet been discovered by that time - Antarctica. As with most ancient maps, the mainland was not covered with ice. Buache also accurately displayed the correct geographical position of the Canary Islands.

The map also shows the coastline of the plateau on which these islands are located. This means that Buache used the works of other cartographers from those immemorial times, when the glaciers had not yet melted and the level of the world ocean had not risen. It is also interesting that Antarctica on the map is divided into two parts by a large strait.

Created in 1502, Harry King's map shows Siberian rivers flow into the Arctic Ocean, now covered in ice. In addition, it depicts the remnants of ice sheets in the Baltic countries, and the Suez Canal - as it was in antiquity. It also shows two huge islands of Southeast Asia, but connected together by a strip of land. From the point of view of geologists, the map was created when the Earth looked different.

Ptolemy's map of the North shows the presence of ice cover in central and southern Greenland, as well as northern Germany and southern Sweden. Completely different, prehistoric times.

Another no less interesting thing is the world map of King Jaime, published in 1502. The Sahara Desert is depicted on it completely different from what it is now: with fertile lands, huge lakes and rivers, ancient cities. In the very distant past, it was so.

Orons Finet's world map, created in 1534, also shows Antarctica, not yet covered with ice. Needless to say that in those days the continent was not yet “officially” discovered? Nevertheless, it is on the map - with all the rivers, valleys and coastlines. People had a rough idea of the location of the South Pole.
