Cheryl Costa and Linda Miller Costa, in their work entitled "The UFO Sightseeing Reference Guide: United States of America 2001-2015", shared the results of their research in the field of ufology. The authors of the material managed to establish a pattern according to which there is a high probability of encountering a UFO in the cities of the United States. As a result, Cheryl and Linda Miller Costa managed to compile a list of settlements where most often local residents contemplated UFO flights. According to the authors of the book, they have analyzed more than 100,000 such cases over the past 15 years.
Costa managed to derive an algorithm according to which most often UFO flew in the sky over Phoenix, as well as Arizona, Mexico and Sonora. In these regions, UFOs have been seen by thousands of local residents. All of them reported seeing V-shaped objects. However, the US military indicated that A-10 Warthog aircraft could have created a similar picture.
