Not everyone can get on the quest. The participant must be over 21 years old (if already 18-20 years old, then parental consent is required), have excellent physical shape and take out medical insurance. It is also required to pass the verification of the organizers: fill out a questionnaire, show profiles on social networks and undergo drug testing. For the passage of a ten-hour quest, 20 thousand dollars (1.3 million rubles) are relied, however, according to the owner of the mansion Russ McKamey, no one has yet coped with this.
Participants agree that during the test, they may lose consciousness, get heatstroke, head injury, neck and back injuries, and stroke. Also, participants are allowed to drown, shock and put plastic bags on their heads. Leaving the creepy mansion is possible only in the event of "serious physical or psychological trauma," while fear or an attack of panic is not considered a valid reason. For such "entertainment" McKamey takes a pack of dog food from each visitor - Russ has five dogs. Participants are also fined for obscene language during tests.
