Over the past six months, I have seen "It" twice. I do not use drugs or drugs that cause hallucinations, and am sane. However, I saw it. This happened for the first time last October on Sunday. I had to go to my work very early, so at three in the morning I decided to walk the dog.
I was already standing on the porch of my house and my dog was running nearby when I saw this creature. It moved in the darkness in the distance along the alley. It was very cold and, moreover, it was raining, that is, the weather was such that a rare person, not out of great need, would go out into the street in our small town. Especially on Sunday.
And it was not even a man. Most of all, it looked like a man in a plush hare suit, he had huge ears and powerful legs. In appearance, this creature reminded me of a hare from the horror movie "Donnie Darko". It was 200-300 feet (60-90 meters) away from me and moved very unnaturally.
It walked slowly, swaying from side to side, as if in automatic mode, and at the same time bent over in the back. I looked at this creature for 5 seconds, and then it looked at me, as if sensing my gaze. And I couldn't understand if it was his face or his mask. It looked like a human face, but it horrified me.
Frightened, I pulled on the leash to bring the dog closer to me, which seemed to have not noticed this creature. Maybe because she was running to the side or for another reason, I don't know. She usually reacts very vividly to the slightest rustle from a bird or other dog. It took me ten seconds to get the dog home.
Then I looked again in the direction where that creature was and saw it in another place, standing behind a tree on my neighbor's plot. It was now only about 50 feet (15 meters) away from me. With his speed, he couldn't get there that fast.
I hid in the house and very much did not want to go to work that day. I was very scared and then tried to convince myself that it was all a hallucination. I barely forced myself to get out and get in the car. Then I tried to forget about it after several sleepless nights and convinced myself that most likely it was some kind of addict in a suit.

Six months have passed and I almost forgot about the "hare man", but last weekend I went for a walk with the dog in the city park in the afternoon. The park was half an hour's walk from my house and stretched along the Mississippi River, and my city itself is in Southern Illinois.
There is an old wooden building on the shore, something like a cabin, I am not sure it is used yet or has long been abandoned. We walked near her for about half an hour and my dog was already out of breath, he has a long, heavy coat and he gets tired when he runs a lot. So we turned home.
And then, next to the cabin, I again saw this "rabbit man". He walked in the opposite direction from us along the path past the cabin and moved in the same strange and disturbing style. This time my dog noticed him and started barking loudly and then I realized that this is not a hallucination and I am not crazy if my dog sees him too.
I saw his face again, and although I could not make out in detail, it terrified me again, especially the wide smile on his face, coupled with large dark eyes.
I still don't know what it was, when I tried to tell my friends about the “hare-man”, nobody believed me. And I have no evidence, I didn’t even think to photograph him, my hands in both cases were busy with the dog's leash”.
