The capital of Russia is shrouded in secrets and legends. Some of them are usually told as "fairy tales", others - in a low voice so as not to end up in a psychiatric hospital. The most famous legends are associated with ghosts, for example, the stories about the ghosts of Ostankino and the ghost of Jacob Bruce. Many have heard about them, but few consider them to be true.

Swamp monster
In the seventeenth century, Tsar A. Mikhailovich pondered how to create a pleasant and kind image of the "founder" of the capital of Russia, which was Prince Yu. Dolgoruky. Previously, this person was considered bad, so there was a bad reputation about the prince. By order of the tsar, a huge number of legends and stories about Dolgoruky were collected, among which there was a very interesting "tale" about a monster that appeared to the prince in the swamps, on the outskirts of the future Moscow capital.
The story told about the time when the prince made his way with his retinue through the impenetrable swamps along the Neglinka River. In modern times, Kuznetsky Most Street is located in that area. An impenetrable huge swamp, enveloped in dense fog, suddenly appeared in front of the army. Suddenly the fog began to slowly dissipate, after which a silhouette of a terrible monster appeared in front of the surprised prince. It was completely covered with thick multi-colored wool, it had three heads. Seeing the prince's squad, the monster disappeared after the fog. The elder who followed the army told the prince that this sign speaks of the urgent need to build a city. This is how the capital of Russia appeared.

Ravine monsters
It is unknown why, but it is the furry creatures that most often appear in the terrible Moscow legends. It is known from certain sources that most of these monsters are found in the Golosovoy ravine - an area known to everyone, mystical, mysterious. Golosov ravine in ancient times served as the border between the villages "Kolomenskoye" and "Dyakovo".
There is an unusually mystical legend that tells about two peasant peasants who followed through a ravine to their native village. As they passed through the ravine, they were overtaken by a dense greenish fog, in which they met with furry humanoid creatures. Fortunately, these creatures turned out to be friendly and helped the travelers to get out of the fog. When the men returned to their native village, it turned out that they had not been there for about 20 years.
A similar hairy creature was chased by skeptical pioneers in the 20s of the last century. Moreover, this event was described in the official media source - the newspaper "Komsomolskaya Pravda". The article said that the young pioneers noticed a strange hairy creature that allegedly came out of the Voice Ravine. They decided to catch up with him, but it ran faster. Later, a local precinct officer with a revolver joined the pioneers, at the sight of which the creature ran into the fog and disappeared.
Ghosts of the Shipilov Dam
The Shipilovskaya dam is known to be located in the outskirts of the capital. It separates the reservoirs "Tsaritsynskie" and "Borisovskie". In the vicinity of this dam, mainly in the morning, when that area is shrouded in dense fog, the figures of two stately men in tailcoats sometimes appear. They walk slowly along the banks of the ponds, as if looking for something.
Local legends tell of two marauding deserters who decided to rob the family of a local miller, whose enterprise was located near the dam. To do this, they penetrated the mill, previously located in that area, and threatened the miller with revolvers. He, in turn, was able to lull the vigilance of the criminals - he gave them moonshine to drink, after which he alternately shot them with a double-barreled weapon.
The head of the local police, who arrived at the miller's call in the morning, ordered to bury the bodies of the bandits in the coastal zone, not far from the dam.
