Roskosmos has sent to the government a draft of the Federal Space Program for 2016–2025. The text of the document states that more than 28 billion rubles will be required to launch six spacecraft to the Moon, of which 11 will go to deliver soil from a satellite to Earth.
From the "Federal Space Program for 2016-2025": "The total amount of funding for the creation of a space complex for lunar exploration" Luna-Glob "is 2 billion 980 million rubles."
According to the Luna-Glob project, in 2019 a device will be launched on the Moon, which will work out the technology of soft landing and will study the lunar surface in the circumpolar region. The apparatus is expected to operate for a year.
After him, two orbital and two landing craft will go to the Earth satellite in 2021 and 2023. This project is called "Luna-Resource", it will allow to study the surface of the Moon remotely. It is planned to spend 14 billion 630 million rubles from the budget on it.
In 2025, a lander will fly to the moon with a soil intake device and a rocket that will deliver samples of lunar soil to Earth. According to Roscosmos calculations, the development and implementation of this task will require 11 billion rubles, Interfax reports.
In July of this year, President Vladimir Putin got acquainted with the ambitious plans of the Russian space industry. The head of state visited the Progress center, which is engaged in the production of launch vehicles.
