In the Altai mountains on the territory of modern Mongolia, archaeologists have discovered a well-preserved mummy, 1,500 years old, shod in Adidas sneakers. Of course, there is no inscription and the company logo on the shoes, but the three white stripes on the sides of the foot are visible to the naked eye.
According to the British edition of the Mirror, the similarity with the products of the famous modern shoe manufacturer is simply striking. And the archaeologists themselves, having posted on the network a small video with the found mummy, clearly not without reason focused on the feet of their find. But at the same time, the branded stripes are explained by a simple coincidence - a woman found in a cave next to a well-preserved saddle, teapot and other utensils was shod in typical sandals, the upper part of which, in fact, consisted of three strips of leather. Therefore, such an effect turned out.
Archaeologists add that the burial found in the cave is part of the ancient Turkic culture. And the mummy, perfectly preserved to this day, is due to this low temperature, which has been in the cave for all 1.5 thousand years (no more than minus three degrees Celsius).
