Elon Musk, CEO and founder of Tesla and SpaceX, is renowned for his futuristic visions and predictions for the future. Speaking at the World Government Summit in Dubai on Monday 13 February 2017, he talked about the future of artificial intelligence, self-driving cars, interstellar travel, and shared his thoughts on aliens.
"They are already among us," Musk said of the possibility of extraterrestrial life on Earth.
In addition, Elon added that some people consider him an alien. He immediately clarified that it was not, and he expected just such a reaction.
Musk made an interesting assumption that an alien civilization will be obliged to recognize our galaxy in the next 10-20 million years. And although, according to him, this is still a long way off, clever aliens are already monitoring us.
“If there are superintelligent aliens out there, they are probably already watching us. It's very likely, and we're just not smart enough to figure it out,”he said.
Musk, like a real outrageous genius, spoke about his desire to end his last days on Mars.
“Given that I have the choice to die on Earth or on Mars, I would say that of course I will die on Mars. But this is not a simple desire to die on Mars. If I die on Mars, it will not be a disaster,”Musk explained.
Sounds very exciting. Time will tell whether this will actually happen or not.
