Perun sat on his horse, and galloped to the Kalinovy bridge, which is on the Smorodina river. I wanted to go down to the underworld, but Skiper had already escaped by this time, and took refuge in a castle made of human skulls.
That castle stood in the Black Mountains on a high rock, which was guarded by basilisks and griffins. A mighty eagle saw from the heights of the Skipper in the castle, and sank on the shoulder of Perun. I told him everything, and flew forward to show the way. Perun hurried after the eagle, and found the castle of the Skipper-beast in the Black Mountains.

He drives up to the lair of the filthy man, and griffins with basilisks meet him. Griffins with a lion's body, with a wolf's head, flapped their wings, flew up into the sky, and began circling over Perun, clicking with their copper beaks. They descend ever lower, circling in a terrible carousel. They began to prepare an attack from the sky, dive at once and peck at Perun. But he took out his arrows and threw their bundle into the sky. Arrows rose, scattered from the beam, and each arrow struck one griffin. The downed griffins fell to the ground, and those who did not get the arrows flew to the Alatyr Mountains.
Following the griffins, the basilisks went on the attack. They have rooster heads, toad eyes, and copper wings like a bat's. From one glance of a basilisk, all living things perish and turn to stone. Basilisks howl, hiss, spit poison. But Perun doesn't care. I strung all the basilisks on my spear, and drove to the castle.
He sees a herd of various wild animals and creeping nagas grazing by the walls. The flock is grazed by three wild girls. Their skin is like tree bark, and their hair is like withered grass. Perun took a closer look, and recognized them as his sisters Lelia, Morena and Zhivu: the enchanted girls had to serve the vile Skipper, graze his cannibalistic herd. Perun was offended, angry. He sent the horse into the cannibalistic herd, and trampled all the reptiles with his hooves. Those of them who could dodge, scattered around the world, crawled, so wild bloodthirsty animals appeared in the forests - wolves, lynxes, leopards, lions, and all sorts of reptiles.

And Perun told his sisters to go to Iriy, bathe in the milk river, and wait until he overcomes Skipper. As the Skiper dies, the spell will subside. Then the girls will become as before, in their usual guise.
Perun drives up to the gate of the castle, made of human bones and dyed with blood, and Skipper comes out to meet him. A copper fur rose on him, he aimed sharp horns at Perun, pricked up a sting on his tail, and says:
- I recognize you, I recognize Perun, you are Svarogov's son! Three hundred years ago I buried you, hid you in a damp earth, and I will wear you out a second time. I will trample, stab with my horns, drown you if I spit, carry you away if I dune!
And Perun is a thunderbolt, he didn’t speak in vain, took a spear, and threw it right into the heart of Skiper. Skipper howled, cried, fell to the ground, and black blood poured from his wound. So much flowed out that Perun for three days and three nights could not budge. And on the third day, the Mother of Cheese Earth opened and absorbed the black combustible blood of the Skipper into herself.

Perun filled up the dead Skipper with stones, and so there were mountains separating the two seas from each other.
So the fierce Skipper-beast perished, and all people on Earth rejoiced. Lelya, Zhiva and Morena returned to Iriya, plunged into the Milk River, and again became as before. Returned to earth love, joy and spring, summer and autumn returned again. And also winter returned cold with winds and frosts.
Perun returned to Iriy, bowed to Svarog-father, and Lada-mother. As a reward for the victory over Skiper, Rod-Slov gave him a silver mace, and endowed him with power over all seas and okiyans, heavenly, earthly and underground waters. Made him the lord of lightning and the keeper of the defenders of those mortals who, with weapons in their hands, act to defend their land.
Then there was a feast for the whole of Iriy, where all the immortals gathered. They feasted for a long time and Perun was glorified. Then Perun got bored. He did not like the idle pastime, and he went along the rainbow to Earth. I went down straight to the Black Mountain, next to which the head of Goryn Chernozmeevich lies in the sea. On the shore I met a brown-haired girl, the beautiful Diva-Dodola. From her beauty, Perun's mind was clouded, and he wanted to marry. But the maiden Diva-Dodola was the daughter of Dyya-Divia, the master of divine people, the lord of the night sky.
11. Perunov's wedding
And the mighty Perun had to bow to Dyu. That, for some reason, was not happy about such a turn, got angry, swore. It was a pity to give him his daughter. And Diva-Dodola is curious, at that time she was eavesdropping on everything, but she looked at the handsome Perun.

And the stern Dyy told Perun that although he had heard about his exploits, the right to marry his beloved daughter was still necessary to be earned. Like there is one more groom. Miracle Yudo, who was born from the wrath of Chernomor. If Chudo-Yudo turns out to be stronger than Perun, he will get to know and Diva-Dodola. Perun agreed to such a condition, and rode to the Black Sea.

Veles was a godfather at the wedding, and led the wedding chariot across the sky. It was then, having seen Perynya, he became confused by his mind. The mighty Veles, the son of the cow Zemun, fell in love with Perun's bride.
Perun's parents were very happy that they had such a daughter-in-law. Lada sewed a wedding dress for her, and Svarog forged wedding rings and a pin for the newlyweds, with which the dresses are fastened to the young at the wedding so that they never part.
Perun built a flying castle in Iria, decorated it with gems, and arranged everything inside as in the world born by Rod. The sun and the moon walked on the ceiling, the stars were shining, the dawn was pouring in the morning, and the sunset was shining in the evening. It became home to Perun, Peryn and their many Perunovichs.
Svarog with Svarozhichi presented the newlyweds with gilded thunder arrows. And Lada gave a rainbow so that Perynya would dissolve it with a ribbon after the rain. Perun will walk with thunderstorms, and Perynya - with the last thunder, with mercy. Perun will pour water on bread, and Perynia will help grow it.
