Projects of the "National Technology Initiative" (NTI), which provides for "the introduction of a neurointerface, quantum computing, teleportation", have not received funding to date. On Thursday, July 14, Izvestia was informed about this by the participants and leaders of the NTI road maps.

“We planned the implementation of the projects, proceeding from the fact that the money will start arriving in June at the latest. Further postponement of projects is likely to lead to the fact that the roadmap activities foreseen in the plan for 2016 will not be implemented. Accordingly, everything will be shifted one year to the right,”said Sergei Zhukov, leader of the AeroNet NTI group.

His words were confirmed in the office of the NeuroNet road map. The reason for the delay in funding is the non-compliance of NTI with the formats of state-funded projects. The Russian Venture Company (RVC), of which the NTI project office is a part, plans to form a new fund in August to solve the problem.

In October 2015, the Presidium of the Presidential Council for Economic Modernization and Innovative Development, headed by Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev, approved four NTI projects: AutoNet (unmanned vehicles), NeuroNet (development of neurotechnologies), MarinNet (unmanned maritime transport) and AeroNet (unmanned vehicles). air transport).

In the 2016 budget, it was planned to allocate ten billion rubles for projects (after the sequestration - eight billion). The NTI's plans also include "the introduction of a neurointerface, quantum computing, teleportation, the use of nature-like phenomena to transmit information."

Quantum teleportation is the transmission of the quantum state of a particle over a distance. For this, a spaced pair of entangled (entangled) particles is used: according to quantum mechanics, even when such particles move away from each other, they retain information about the state of their partner.
