On the shores of a lake in the American state of Colorado, the corpse of a creepy fish-like creature with paws was discovered. Internet users are racking their brains over what kind of creature it could be. Some are sure that the author of the photo was able to capture a rare case of mutation, according to Mirror.
A photograph of a strange creature resembling both a fish and a lizard was posted on one of the Internet forums by the American Bobby Kent. He asked the users of a popular resource what kind of animal it could be.
Some joked that this is "a clear proof of evolution", because "all living things came out of the sea to land." Others wrote that this is an example of a mutation and, apparently, the lake on the shore of which the monster was found is heavily polluted.
The picture began to clear up when one of the commentators wrote that the creature photographed by Kent looked like an axolotl - an amphibian, also called a Mexican walking fish. These animals really resemble a fish with paws. They are native to Mexico, but axotls are often kept as exotic pets.
