To get an answer to this question, "KP" carried out an exhumation at the Ivanovsky cemetery in Yekaterinburg

Recall that in the winter of 1959, nine tourists disappeared in the mountains of the Northern Urals, who went on a hike under the leadership of Igor Dyatlov. A month later, rescuers found their tent cut open. And within a radius of one and a half kilometers from it - five frozen bodies. The bodies of the rest were found only in May. Almost all the tourists were naked and half-naked. Some have fatal injuries. It is still not clear why the guys fled to the bitter frost and to their death.

Semyon Zolotarev, as we have already written more than once, is the most mysterious person from the dead group. Semyon - according to the documents, he is Alexander (this is how Zolotarev introduced himself to everyone) was born in the Kuban village of Convenient on February 2, 1921. So he wrote in his autobiographies. However, according to church metrics, his date of birth is March 1, 1921.

In October 1941, Zolotarev went to the front and went through the entire war without a single wound.

After the victory he graduated from the Minsk Institute of Physical Culture. He left for Lermontov, a closed city due to uranium mining. I got a job as a physical education teacher. He was a member of the CPSU. At one of the party meetings, Zolotarev is harshly asked: why did you hide from everyone that your brother worked for the Germans during the war ?! (We have a certified copy of this document).

However, despite this blatant fact at that time, Zolotarev remains to work in a secret city, the name of which was forbidden to be indicated in letters and even pronounced aloud. Nor was he kicked out of the party.

In 1959, getting ready for that fateful journey across the Northern Urals, Semyon Zolotarev mysteriously announced to his students “the whole world will talk about this campaign”. But he didn't say anything concrete. You will soon find out about everything.

… The body of Zolotarev was found three months after the tragedy. It was almost impossible to identify him. In the forensic report, strange tattoos and the tattooed inscription "DAERMMUAZUAYA" are described. But relatives do not remember this tattoo. Pupils, before whom the teacher stripped to the waist in physical education lessons, do not remember her either.

Seven dead tourists were buried then at the Mikhailovsky cemetery in Sverdlovsk. For some reason, Semyon Zolotarev and Yuri Krivonischenko were buried separately at the Ivanovsky churchyard. Their graves are nearby. Recently, Zolotarev's relatives gathered to erect a monument to Semyon instead of a dilapidated rough obelisk crowned with a star. But then another big mystery emerged. It turned out that Semyon Zolotarev was not even on the lists of those buried at the Ivanovskoye cemetery. The grave under the obelisk with the inscription "Semyon Zolotarev" is not registered with anyone. That is, according to the documentation, Semyon Zolotarev was not buried at the Ivanovskoye cemetery!

When Semyon's relatives asked us to help sort out this story, we studied the documentation of all the cemeteries in Yekaterinburg, including, of course, Mikhailovskoye. It turned out that Semyon Zolotarev had never been buried in this city, and where his remains are unknown.

So who, then, rests under the Zolotarev obelisk? And is anyone buried there at all? Having asked such questions, Semyon's relatives asked us to conduct an exhumation.

How difficult it was to get permission to open a non-existent (according to documents) grave, the poem is separate. Let's just say that the whole preparation took over a year.

And so we arrived at the place of work with the eminent Moscow forensic scientist (whose name we will not name yet). A team of workers quickly reached the remains. The grave was littered not so much with earth as with large stones. Nothing remained of the coffin, not even some decaying chips. Nothing remained of the deceased's clothes, only two buttons and two shoe soles, approximately 42-43 sizes. But the bones and skull are intact. Only one upper anterior tooth is missing. In the description of Zolotarev's corpse, nothing is said about the absence of this tooth.

Our forensic scientist immediately determined that the remains were male. At the time of his death, the man was 35-40 years old. And he was an experienced smoker, which is clearly visible in his teeth.

The remains will be carefully examined, and it is too early to talk about final conclusions. So far, superficial observations are striking - a fused fracture of the fibula on the right leg. The causes of the injury could be different. A bullet wound is not excluded. Another experienced expert was surprised by the unusual work of the dentist. On the right, behind the last wisdom tooth, there is a small false crown. Its meaning and purpose are absolutely incomprehensible. Can experienced dentists clarify something to us on the forum?

Well, in the coming days, we will conduct an examination of the DNA of a person buried under the Zolotarev obelisk to establish his relationship with his alleged nephews. We will also study, together with experts, fractures of Semyon's ribs. It turned out that the description of these injuries does not quite coincide with the real injuries that we found during the excavation.
