A resident of China, who works as a programmer in one of the institutions in Beijing, as usual, took breakfast to work that day, which consisted of sandwiches and fresh vegetables, including tomatoes.
Imagine the surprise of the Chinese when in one of the tomatoes he suddenly found … strawberries. Frightened by a vegetable mutant, the programmer, hunted by various "achievements" of modern society, refused to eat such a tomato. He photographed a unique specimen and posted the picture on the Internet with the question: what is it and can it be eaten?
Experts immediately responded to the call of the frightened Chinese, reassuring him and explaining that there was no mutation in this case. This happens quite often when tomatoes are grown in conditions of insufficient moisture or, possibly, uneven watering: after all, the vegetable grew almost normally.
Due to the lack of moisture in the tomato, unnatural formations and growths can occur, which have nothing to do with the berries. In this case, too, it is not a strawberry, but a unique formation inside a tomato. True, the scientists noted, they themselves see this for the first time: the internal growth is in fact very similar to a ripe strawberry.
The programmer was satisfied with the explanation of the specialists, however, as he wrote on the Web, he still did not dare to use the strange vegetable, or rather, he ate everything in that tomato except its "strawberry" part.
