Many houses in the historical part of Penza were built on the sites of old churchyards. If in pre-revolutionary times these territories were somehow guarded or parks were laid on them, then in Soviet times they did not pay attention to such "trifles", removing the remains of gravestones and building up the former refuge of the dead with residential buildings. Unsurprisingly, these cemeteries are now anomalous zones.
One of these famous areas is the location of the music school. There was once an ancient Tatar cemetery here. When a foundation pit was dug for the building, the bones were simply unloaded into dump trucks and taken out somewhere outside the city. Since then, invisible spirits have settled in the school building, which received nicknames from local humorists: Flutist for whistling, and Kryshnik for rattling iron on the roof of the building.
Something more unpleasant is happening in the old Jewish cemetery. There were cases when something invisible pushed visitors in the back with such force that they even knocked them off their feet. It's not safe to go there alone. It is possible that ghosts guard the peace of the departed.
Many stories are told about the places associated with any tragic events. This includes a house on Moskovskaya Street, on the site of the destroyed Peter and Paul Church, in the basements of which the Chekists shot people. On the territory of the now abandoned bicycle factory for a long time, until 1917, the dead convicts were buried. Old workers of the plant claim that more than once in twilight they met ghosts in shrouds there, demanding in a grave voice to remove their shackles …
They try to control ufologists
There are several active ghost research groups in the Penza region. Let's say right away that this is an unsafe business, although it is useful for science. The harm of systematic communication with a poltergeist, or an increased interest in his "relative", appearing under the abbreviation UFO, is that a person can become a slave of this phenomenon.
There were many cases when a malicious poltergeist persistently pursued a researcher or tried to control his actions. Something similar happened to the Penza ufologist M., when he was going to make a presentation at a local conference, and also when he was preparing to go to the UFO congress in Moscow.

Let's say that in both cases the ufologist was forced to stay at home - "dark forces" simply paralyzed his lower limbs, as a result of which he even had difficulty moving around his apartment. It is noteworthy that after a while the paralysis passed by itself, as if it had never existed!
Another Penza researcher of the paranormal, N., often received ridiculous notes thrust through the door. Unknown people called him at his apartment with absurd threats or breathed into the receiver for a long time without saying anything. And once at the entrance, people in black blocked his way. True, they did not touch him, and after some hesitation, silently parted, letting him pass.
Plasmoids, critters, orbs and the like
In addition to ghosts and people in black, partially materialized ghosts appear in Penza, which are not visible to the naked eye, but are clearly recorded in photographs. Their appearance is remarkable - these are almost colorless balls or circles with an internal granular structure.
Ufologists call them differently: plasmoids, critters, orbs and PAYNE objects. The last term was invented by the leading ufologist of Penza S. Volkov - an abbreviation from the Greek words “primary intelligible essence”.
It is believed that plasmoids are a cross between UFOs and ghosts, and their round shape and invisibility indicate only that they have only partially entered our world. There are a lot of critters in cemeteries, in places of anomalous zones, in ancient buildings and churches, in hospitals and morgues, in places of frequent gathering of people.
Penza researchers tried to get in touch with the plasmoids, and they succeeded. It was possible to find out that the overwhelming majority of them represent the lower spiritual component of people who once lived, a combination of their unrealized egoistic desires and passions.
If S. Volkov "interviewed" the plasmoids using a plumb line or a pendulum, another oldest Penza ufologist E. Utenkov preferred to use a wire frame, which, however, did not affect the results at all.
And once, when, while working at the old churchyard, Utenkov stopped and decided to take a break, he had an irresistible desire to take paper and a pencil. The result is a psychographic image of a person buried in this cemetery.

Otherworldly forces stubbornly try to control us, using for this natural or man-made zones with disturbed energy, which are a portal to enter the afterlife.
These places, as a rule, are of little use for life or are basically death. Which again speaks of their otherworldly nature. Despite the fact that these forces are opposite to us, they are inextricably linked with us. The physical and the afterlife worlds are something one, like the poles of a magnet.
