It's funny to see young interns come to work with the complete confidence that everyone knows. This especially makes more experienced colleagues smile, however, there are times when they are faced with something inexplicable and eerie, which is not so easy to forget.
Actually, the next case developed in approximately the same scenario. A young trainee Dima, my distant friend, was sent to practice in the morgue. Dima was a student at one medical university, and he loved to show off his knowledge in this area. Especially in noisy companies, but apart from smiles from others, this did not cause anything else, and they rather laughed at him somewhere in the depths of the soul.
He fell under the wing of a rather experienced pathologist Alexei Sergeevich, a doctor with solid experience and experience. Before whom he tried to seem smarter than he is. Dima especially loved to use the phrase "an autopsy will show", sometimes completely out of place. That, besides a smile, it could have caused an experienced doctor. But Dima had one more feature, he completely denied the existence of any non-material world. And at times he did it very fanatically.
In this regard, the balanced and judicious figure of Alexei Sergeevich seemed much more adequate in such matters than Dima. Perhaps it would have continued, but one terrible incident changed everything abruptly. It began with the fact that by the evening they brought someone from a village old man, about eighty years old. And Alexei Sergeevich had a lot of paperwork, which is why he stayed late at work.
So, having given the necessary instructions to Dima, after all, he is still not a man from the street, collect some primary data from the deceased and enter them into a card index. Alexei Sergeevich went to his study. Just do not think that he completely abandoned the young guy, he planned to periodically check his work. Meanwhile, the time was already by ten in the evening, and it was time to wrap up.
Alexey Sergeevich himself did not notice how he sat up for an hour. Having decided that it was time to finish and go to accept Dima's work. He closed the office and headed down the dark corridor to the desired room. And suddenly suddenly the light went out, I think there is no mysticism here, since the building is old and the wiring there is useless. Turning on the flashlight on the phone, he continued on his way. And at that moment, an experienced and sensible doctor, for the first time during his work here, felt creepy. That's simple, for no reason.

And so he approaches the office, and sees two shadows peeping through the illuminated section of the floor. One clearly belongs to Dima, who apparently worked at the computer before that he fell asleep. But the other, the other clearly resembles their new acquaintance, and moreover, the shadow clearly comes from the person who is standing. And not as it should be, lies on the gurney. At this moment, Dima yells good obscenities, and a bullet flies out of the office, knocking down the gurney with him, so that the poor grandfather finds himself on the floor. And after a few seconds, the light turns on.
It turned out that the guy really fell asleep, and dreamed that he was sitting in the same place, at the computer, completely alone, not counting his grandfather of course. And suddenly someone touches him on the shoulder, at that moment he wakes up and finds himself in the dark, all these moments bring him to hysteria, and in panic he knocks the gurney with its inhabitant.
Yes, all this can be attributed to a bad dream, and the poor guy's reaction to him, but Alexey Sergeevich himself, with his own eyes, saw this terrible shadow, which was clearly next to the guy. This is really food for thought …
