"Neo, you're stuck in the Matrix!" - told the hero of the film to induce him to understand the world around him. As a result, he came to the conclusion that his usual life is not reality, but just a virtual simulation.

In my personal opinion, the comparison of our life with the Matrix is not entirely accurate. In the film, our world is essentially a computer game, above which there is the next level - the "real world". In fact, no matter how many levels of reality there are, they are all "virtual". That is, everything that we perceive as happening to us is simply "viewing" by our consciousness data from information fields.

At first glance, this may sound confusing - so I will explain in order …

All variants of events that can or could happen to a person are recorded in the information field. In the now very popular books about Transurfing, this field is called the "space of options". We are now somewhere on one of the points of this space. This point can be called our “individual reality”.

However, a person does not live in the world alone, but is next to hundreds of other people. The totality of many personal points of perception located relatively close to each other forms a common reality.

This can be represented by such an example - in a certain liquid substance many particles float, each of which emits energy. From this energy, the liquid around it begins to solidify, but one particle is not enough for this. The area that is "highlighted" by many particles has become absolutely solid, this is our material world.

Reality exists in three planes - past, present and future. The present is the most concentrated energy. The material world with its colors, sounds, smells and sensations exists for us only at the current moment. The past and the future lose this "materiality" - the past can only be partially restored in memory, and the future can only be assumed.

This happens for several reasons. Firstly, the energy of the present is many times greater than the residual "light" that fades in the past and that falls on the future, therefore, it is easiest for us to pass it through ourselves.

Secondly, our consciousness is equipped with a certain standard "filter", which, when looking into the past, shows us a certain version of events, and blocks the perception of the future.

Let's describe in steps how this "filter" works

Step 1: direct perception of the present, that is, fixing events by consciousness in real time. This would seem to be the most "truthful" perception, because the past can be forgotten, and the future is uncertain. Nevertheless, there are many restrictions on direct perception - we do not feel subtle energy waves, we cannot exchange thoughts, out of the many signals entering our brain we can focus on only a few. Therefore, it is impossible to say that the everyday perception of reality is complete and accurate.

Step 2: perception of the past. Here we no longer look at the picture in front of us, but remember what happened. What is called memory is in fact not the brain's recording of past events, but the ability to read them from the information field. Events in the "space of options" are linked in chains, held together by a cause-and-effect relationship. In the present we are at a certain "link", and remembering the past, we look back and look at the previous parts of our chain.

Here is a very important point - the past that we see now is not "the only true and possible", it is just a "view" that opens from our current chain of events. If a person is moved to another chain, that is, to an alternative reality, he will see from there another, but still logical and "true" past.

Step 3: alternatives to the present. Perceptions of neighboring chains of events, which are parallel to the current one, are closed to our consciousness - the “filter” built into the consciousness completely blocks it. Each action, as a rule, has several possible consequences, but only one of them we perceive as happened. And it is this option that is filled with energy, becoming our reality, and the rest form unrealized alternative options.

Step 4: perception of the future. Locked in the standard "consciousness filter" position. As well as the perception of alternative circuits, it manifests itself only in the form of vague premonitions. People with psychic abilities have the opportunity to "see" their own or someone else's future; in most cases, they see the continuation of the current chain of events as the most likely option.

However, due to many factors, their gaze can "shift" - this is either a personal conviction in something, or a desire to see what one wants. In any case, forecasts and predictions should not be trusted one hundred percent - those options that now seem to be the most logical continuation of the chain may not come true, and everything will happen differently.

Based on the foregoing, reality is a selective reading by consciousness of events from the information field around us. In addition, the data we receive undergoes additional "filtering", which cuts off all unnecessary. As a result, an incomplete, but quite suitable picture for us remains - the world in which we live.
