The way of the people who created statues on Easter Island

The appearance of numerous stone statues on the Pacific Easter Island is still controversial among researchers. They have not developed a consensus on when, by whom, how and for what these giant sculptures were created in local quarries and on the slope of the volcano. A member of the Russian Geographical Society, Ivan Koltsov, offers his version based on the information available to him about the history of the peoples who inhabited the lands of the present Russian Federation in ancient times.

The statues on Easter Island were created over many centuries - from the 13th to the 2nd century BC. They were made by local residents hundreds of meters from the coast and delivered in some way to the installation site on the coast, where they were placed in an upright position, facing the west. Some of the statues depicted the faces of real people who then lived on the island. Because of their distinctive anatomical features, they were called "long-eared" - and such a distinctive feature just contributed to the study of the route of movement of this people around the planet.

Easter Island was accidentally discovered in 1722 by the Dutch admiral Jacob Roggeven. Since this happened on the day of Christian Easter, he gave the island a corresponding name. Locals called their island differently - "Te Pito o te Henua", which means "Center of the World" in the native language. In 1774, another European navigator, James Cook, visited the island. The natives told him that 22 generations have changed since the leader Hotu Matua brought their ancestors to this island.

The sailors were struck by what they saw about two hundred giant stone statues ranging in height from five to nine meters - the size of some reached twelve meters, which were called "moai" by the locals and were located along the coast of the island. All the giant statues were similar to each other: upturned noses, long earlobes, the same facial expression.

The Europeans were surprised how the "savages" were able to move statues and pedestals weighing several tens of tons each over a fairly long distance - on the coast. The explanation of the islanders that the statues moved by themselves with the help of the magical power of "manna", the Europeans, accustomed to rational thinking, did not satisfy. “We could not understand, no matter how much we thought,” wrote Captain Cook, “how these islanders, who knew nothing of such a science as mechanics, could lift such boulders and place them on heavy platforms. They could not be made by local residents, since such structures probably required centuries of labor expended on them. Who built these stone colossi and how? With what tools?"

Thanks to the studies carried out, it was possible to establish that the "long-eared" came to Easter Island from the upper reaches of the Indigirka River (including the Chersky ridge and the Oymyakonskoye Upland), where they lived for many millennia within the Scythian empire, next to the ancestors of such famous Proto-Slavic peoples such as Krivichi and Etruscans, and communicated with them in their colloquial Old Russian language.

When a period of cooling began in the region and the permafrost began to advance in a southerly direction, the youngest and most active part of the local population rushed in search of new lands to warmer regions. The waves of resettlement also went by water. So, from the area of the modern Far Eastern city of Okhotsk "long-eared" began to leave on self-propelled flat-bottomed ships-plows southward along the islands.

Their ships had mysterious energy propulsors inherited from a previous civilization that had died shortly before as a result of a major war. This military conflict, in which flying devices, "lightning arrows", powerful bombs and metal robots were used, was described in the ancient Indian legend "Mahabharata" and other sources, including the Greek ("Titanomachy"), where that war is mentioned.

In the II millennium BC. the tops of many underwater ridges, gradually sinking under the water, "beads" protruded from the water in the form of rocky islands. This allowed the "long-eared" to migrate relatively safely from island to island. At the same time, part of the immigrants, as they moved, settled on habitable islands (Japanese, Mariana, Philippine, Marshall, Tuamotu Islands).

Easter Islands "long-eared" reached about the middle of the XIII century BC. and stayed there until the 5th century AD. From here, the most active part of this people, after some time, again moved eastward, along the islands and the Nazca ridge, reaching the shores of Peru, and then the Amazon region - between its tributaries, the Purus and Jurua rivers. Here the descendants of the "long-eared" lived up to the 20th century, and nowadays they can be found in Brazil (in the Amazon region) and Peru, as well as in the Philippines and even in our Yakutia, in the upper reaches of the Indigirka.

Not surprisingly, apart from Easter Island, similar stone statues are found in Brazil in the area between the Purus and Jurua rivers. It is about 70 kilometers from the source of the Araguaia River, where it flows into the Amazon. In Yakutia, the same mysterious statues can be found between the village of Allah-Yun and the Aldan River, not far from the ruins of some ancient structures. They are near Indigirka between the mountain with a mark of 2703 and the village of Predpozhny, as well as 200 km north of the town of Khonuu.

Ancient monuments have been preserved in other places of these lands of Eastern Siberia, which were part of the middle of the 1st millennium BC. to the Scythian empire. Legends say that Russians lived here from the pre-Mongol period up to the 20th century. The remarkable Russian writer Valentin Rasputin noted the peculiarity of the Russian language he heard in those places.

It should also be noted that in the Indigirka basin on the Oymyakon upland there are areas where the wind never blows and there are big frosts in winter. Nevertheless, there are many centenarians here. Therefore, some elderly people who know about the amazing climate of these places move here after retirement, trying to extend their lives …

PS When the material was being prepared for publication, the editorial office received a message about the discovery made by researchers from the Academy of Basic Sciences under the leadership of its president, Andrey Tyunyaev. They established - or so they claim - that there was another, much more ancient civilization to the north of the territory of modern China. This, in their opinion, is confirmed by archaeological discoveries made on the territory of Eastern Siberia - we are talking about precisely those lands about which our author Ivan Koltsov writes. Impressive evidence of the existence in ancient times of a civilization comparable to Arkaim in the Urals has not yet been comprehended by world historical science and has not even received a proper assessment in Russia itself.

Researchers have also identified facts that allow us to take a fresh look at the origin of the Great Wall of China. It was built, perhaps, by an older civilization that defended itself from raids from the south. This is evidenced, in particular, by the fact that the loopholes on a significant part of the wall are directed not to the north, but to the south. This can be seen not only in the most ancient, not reconstructed sections of the wall, but also in recent photographs and Chinese drawings.

Recall that, according to the generally accepted version, the Great Wall of China - from the Yalu River in eastern China to the Tien Shan Mountains in the west, with a length of almost six thousand kilometers - was built in the 3rd century BC. Some researchers also argue that in antiquity, north of the now famous wall, there was another line of fortifications up to five thousand kilometers long. Its remains, according to alleged images from space, are visible from the Nenjiang River in the west to the city of Baotou in the east. These fortifications were supposedly built in the XII century to protect the Middle Kingdom from warlike neighbors from the north.

True, many unconventional versions have appeared recently. For example, according to the sensational concept of a new chronology, which official historians do not recognize, the Great Wall of China was built by historical standards relatively recently - in the 17th century, when the pro-Western Romanovs came to power in the metropolis of the Eurasian empire. Then part of the imperial troops, who remained loyal to the old Horde dynasty, allegedly fortified themselves on the territory of modern China and fenced off with a wall from the lands controlled by the new dynasty.

And now another no less revolutionary version of the origin and purpose of these fortifications has appeared - to protect the ancient East Siberian civilization from attacks from its southern neighbors. Whether this is true or not, further research will show. But still, it is already becoming more and more obvious that, contrary to popular belief, the ancestors of the present East Slavic peoples have inhabited Siberia since ancient times, which has become the ancestral home for many European peoples. Therefore, Siberia, whether someone likes it or not, is an integral part of the historical Great Russia.
