In 1920, Elsa Lamp-Wright, the youngest daughter of William Lamp Sr., committed suicide by shooting herself. This happened after she married Thomas Wright and, due to frequent quarrels and family problems, she began to have mental problems.
Elsa and Thomas decided to divorce, but then got married again. However, shortly after the second wedding, Elsa committed suicide. It is likely that the White Lady is Elsa Lamp-Wright.
In 1922, following the prohibition of alcohol, the Lamp brewery was auctioned off and its former owner, William Lamp Jr., shot himself in his office.

In addition to the Lady in White, many have seen the so-called "boy with the face of a monkey." According to rumors, this is the illegitimate son of William Lamp named Zeke, who was allegedly born with Down syndrome and therefore was hidden from everyone in the attic.
According to another variation of hearing, the ugly boy is William's brother, who was born with a severely deformed face and died in early childhood. But there is no record of Zeke's existence.
