The woman photographed the Christmas tree dressed up for Christmas and did not immediately notice a frightening pale face among the branches, as if something was standing by the window behind the tree.
Melanie Shoals, 31, lives in Bolton, Greater Manchester, UK and works as a caregiver for the elderly.
Recently in the morning she was in the living room of her patient's house, where a spruce tree, dressed for Christmas, stood and talked to her colleague.
The conversation turned about the acquaintances and patients who died this year, when Melanie saw a large glass ball fall from the tree by itself and break.
Melanie found this incident strange, because no one touched the tree in her presence and there were no pets or small children. In addition, the woman was confident that she hung all the toys securely.
That same evening, Melanie decided to take a picture of the decorated Christmas tree and send the picture to her mother, congratulating her on the upcoming holiday. But when she took the picture and sent it to her mother, her mother almost immediately called her and asked “What kind of face among the branches?” And Melanie had a hard time making out this face, she did not see it at all.
Finally, with some peripheral vision, Melanie made out among the branches of the tree a strange pale brown face, similar to the face of a doll or a person. At the same time, the woman is sure that in reality there was nothing like that. That is, it was not a toy from the Christmas tree or a doll behind the tree.
Then Melanie remembered that when she talked with her colleague in the morning, it was also about the colleague's brother, who died several years ago. And it was at that moment that a ball fell and shattered from the tree.
And when Melanie sent a picture to her friend, her colleague immediately said that it looked like the face of her deceased brother. And now Melanie no longer knows what to think.
Melanie is not surprised that a ghost has appeared in her picture. In fact, she has long been fond of paranormal phenomena and for her this is not the first time that something otherworldly invades her life.
One day she drove past the house of a lonely old man who had died shortly before, and she swears that she saw him in the window, as he stood and looked at her.
