A family from Mogilev (Belarus) went to remove the damage and got into a serious accident near Orsha: 7 people were injured. The accident occurred on January 18, at 10.30, in the Orsha district, near the village of Kupelka (147th km of the Vitebsk - Gomel - Ukrainian border). A Volkswagen minibus and a Mitsubishi passenger car collided, the traffic police of the Vitebsk regional executive committee reported.

According to auto.tut.by, a 65-year-old resident of Mogilev was driving the Volkswagen minibus. The man lost control at the end of overtaking.

“The rear axle of the car skidded, and it drove into the oncoming lane, where it collided with a Mitsubishi passenger car driven by a resident of Chashnik, Vitebsk region. At the time of the accident, there were five people in the minibus, and four in the car. Seven of them received injuries, mainly fractures. The driver of the minibus himself was not injured,”said the traffic police of the Internal Affairs Directorate of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee.

The man was taking his family to Vitebsk to remove the damage from the healer grandmother. There were also two random fellow travelers in the car, whom the driver found on the Internet.

As it became known to journalists, over the past year, the Volkswagen driver was repeatedly brought to administrative responsibility for speeding. Whether he will make another attempt to remove the damage is not specified.

As the official representative of the USK in the Vitebsk region Svetlana Sakharova said, the Orsha ISKCON against the driver of Volkswagen Transporter opened a criminal case under Part 2 of Art. 317 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Belarus (Violation of traffic rules or the operation of vehicles, resulting in the infliction of grievous bodily harm by negligence).
