In one of the forests of Bosnia, archaeologists recently made an unexpected find. Experts have found a boulder buried in the ground with a diameter of about two meters and weighing at least thirty tons. The lump is amazing in that it has a regular spherical shape.
After analyzing the thickness of the layer of soil and mineral deposits on the stone, scientists came to the conclusion that the age of the mysterious object is at least one and a half thousand years, or even more.
The discovery was made in the vicinity of the town of Zavidovichi. Its author was Semir Osmanagich, a relatively famous Bosnian who has been engaged in archeology for more than twenty years. According to the expert, he and his colleagues split a small fragment from the boulder and examined its composition. It turned out that the lump, or at least its outer layer, contains a very large percentage of iron. Osmanagich believes that this stone ball has much larger dimensions and weight than similar finds made in their time in Mexico and Costa Rica.
Of course, the probability that a huge stone of an ideal spherical shape was created by nature tends to zero. For this reason, the Bosnians are convinced that this is a man-made product. However, who could have created such a ball fifteen centuries ago? Osmanagich reports that this may be the work of an ancient civilization that once lived in southern Europe.
Who made this stone ball and why?
The archaeologist, by the way, is known for his numerous statements about such peoples, which, in theory, could have left pyramids and tunnels like the ancient Egyptian ones underground in this region. According to the scientist, the age of the oldest such civilization should be at least twelve thousand years. “There are most likely cities below us, and maybe even entire megalopolises built by a developed ancient civilization,” says the Bosnian.

Some experts speculate that the stone may be the core for some ancient cannon that may not have even been made.
World ufologists put forward their theories. According to many of them, the mysterious ball was left on Earth by representatives of an alien civilization. Similar spherical stones, as mentioned above, were previously found in Costa Rica, Mexico, Nicaragua, Guatemala and other countries. Perhaps aliens scattered them across our planet as a kind of pointers or even energy storage facilities.
Be that as it may, the Bosnian authorities have already expressed their readiness to finance further archaeological excavations in the area.
