In patriarchal Cambodia in the Ratanakiri province, the Kreung tribe lives. Local customs prescribe sending fifteen-year-old girls who have reached the age of majority to look for a life partner in a rather unusual way. Surprisingly, but true: fathers with their own hands build small bamboo huts for their daughters not far from the house, where a girl can bring guys and have sex with them.

Polyandry is practiced in Nepal, scientifically - polyandry, i.e. a marriage where a woman can have several husbands. Typically, a woman marries several siblings. This approach to marriage is easy to explain: the country is densely populated, there is not enough land and pasture for everyone, and polyandric marriage makes it possible not to divide their land plots between brothers.
