An almost mystical phenomenon - the Novosibirsk travelers saw a reservoir in the desert, but then it disappeared. An unusual adventure was experienced by the citizens of Novosibirsk, who set off on a trip around the world in cars.
The next stage passed through Egypt. There the "hallucination" overtook the travelers.
- We drove from the city of Aswan along the Aswan reservoir, which was once built by Soviet specialists. It was forty degrees overboard, and we began to observe some lake nearby. They thought it was water spilled. But they drove closer, and it disappeared somewhere all the time. I thought: well, no, this is not a mirage! Everything is for real, - Alexey Kamerzanov told Radio Komsomolskaya Pravda.
Gradually doubts began to creep in, and Alexey decided to remove the reservoir. Everything worked out: the equipment also "saw" the lake!
- It was clear: this sea is in front of you! But when you approach it, it slowly creeps away, crawls away, disappears, moves, the traveler describes. A little childish feeling when you try to catch up with the rainbow. It was the same. Nothing special, but so realistic …
High-voltage lines helped to defeat the illusion:
- I was not convinced that this was a real sea, when I saw that there was a power line station in the water. Then, having driven several kilometers, I noticed that the sea was gone. None of us have seen anything like this before!

Last time the traveler took off the "gate to hell"
Alexey Kamerzanov, who has traveled more than fifty countries, is not the first to take photographs close to mystical. The view in one of his photographs was even nicknamed "the gate to hell." In the frame is a flaming crater.
This place is located in Turkmenistan, near the village of Darvazu.
- Back in Soviet times, geologists discovered an accumulation of underground gas in those places. As a result of excavation and drilling of an exploration well, they stumbled upon a void. An oil rig with all the equipment fell into it. People, thank God, did not suffer then, - says the traveler about how these "gates" were opened.
Someone thought of setting fire to the gas coming from the bowels. Especially so that it burns out, and there is no danger. However, the flame has been blazing for decades. Having visited this place, Kamerzanov took a picture.
And when a meteorite collapsed near Chelyabinsk, this picture spread across the Internet. People claimed that there was a funnel on it from a fallen heavenly body.
