A 19-second video of the alleged UFO footage has been posted on the UFO Research Network (MUFON), reportedly filmed in Nairobi, Kenya, Africa this month.

One of the biggest problems with suspected UFO filming is that clips are often blurry, out of focus, or shot too far away.

But in the video posted to MUFON, there is a big flying saucer bug roaring over a secluded road.

The footage, which many viewers have branded a CGI hoax, begins with someone filming in one of the car's rearview mirrors.

It was cloudy and raining, and the quality of the recording itself is rather poor.

He then points to the window with his finger and points the lens up and to the right of the screen.

From what is implied, something is about to happen overhead, yet the operator remains very calm and quiet.

Promotional video:

At 11 seconds, a noise is heard in the air as a huge classic movie-style flying saucer flies over the road, as if descending to the ground.

It then fades out of sight again, hiding behind trees and underbrush at 13 seconds before the noise changes to an echo boom before stopping.

If it weren't fake, this would be the most sensational UFO video ever filmed.

MUFON, based in the United States, is the world's largest investigative organization for alien abduction and UFO sightings and video footage.

But the organization has previously admitted that it is awash with all sorts of pranksters and others who, in some cases, must pass an initial assessment before uploading their "masterpieces" to the World Wide Web.

The organization recognizes that this is one of the concerns of an organization dedicated to such research.

MUFON Investigator Peter Davenport said on the website: “One of the biggest pressures that UFO researchers must face in selecting and investigating sighting reports submitted by members of the public is the flood of false reports and cases of false identity that must be skipped or excluded from the incoming data stream.

“What motivates people to create and submit bogus reports is unclear, except for a seemingly widespread lack of self-discipline and lack of concern for others, which seems all too common in humanity.

"However, the fact remains that this kind of deception is happening all the time and that it is likely to continue in UFOlogy and elsewhere, until we finally uncover the UFO mystery."
