With people who are engaged in research in the field of the mysterious and the supernatural, by a strange coincidence, sometimes strange things also begin to happen. For example, they suddenly acquire the ability to split in two and appear to other people in a “thin” body. And after death, some of them even turn into natural ghosts!
Englishman Harry Price (1881-1948) became famous as a "ghost hunter". For nearly 40 years, he has researched poltergeist and ghost cases across Britain. He has written several books on the subject, such as The Most Restless House in England (1940) and Poltergeist Over England (1945).
Price had a choleric temperament. It was enough for him to hear out of his ears that a ghost appeared somewhere on the other end of England to jump off the spot and rush there in order to study the phenomenon. Acquaintances spoke of him as an extremely eccentric gentleman with an unbearable character. During his life, Price changed several professions, but his passion for the paranormal remained unchanged.
He passed away in March 1948. And soon a resident of Sweden said that he was regularly visited by … the ghost of Harry Price. The young Swede had never had an interest in ghosts and most likely had never heard of Price before. Nevertheless, one night he saw an unfamiliar old man by his bed, who spoke to him in English. From the speech delivered by the guest, the Swede understood only that he called himself Price.
The ghost's visits were repeated several times, with other family members observing them as well. The phantom looked exactly like a living person and the owner tried to photograph him several times, but the image of the old man did not appear on the film.
The Swede began to learn English in order to be able to communicate with his mysterious visitor. He soon learned to understand Price's words a little. He said that he had studied the phenomenon of spirits and ghosts for many years. But they talked not only about this. So, Price advised his "connected", who had disagreements with his health, which doctor should be treated better … It is not known how it all ended. Undoubtedly, it is surprising that Harry Price chose for posthumous contacts a person who lived in another country and did not know anything about him and his lifetime activities.
A strange incident happened in 1982 with a psychic and bioenergy researcher A. V. Martynov. On April 2, he was in Kiev, but on the same day several acquaintances met him in the Crimea near Feodosia, in the area of the Elektropribor plant, where Martynov had visited more than once before. Moreover, the double talked in detail with these people. He gave one woman his Leningrad telephone number. The telephone was installed for him only two weeks after his return from Kiev. And, what is most striking, the numbers of his number completely coincided with the previously dictated double!
Something similar happened to another domestic "anomaly" - I. V. Vinokurov. In March 1995, he had to leave home for several days on business. One evening, he arranged with his wife by telephone that he would call her tomorrow, March 3, at nine o'clock in the morning to clarify the time of his return.

But at the appointed hour the bell did not ring. Vinokurov's wife, after waiting for a while, finally left the kitchen, where the telephone was, and headed down the corridor towards the bathroom. Passing the ajar door of her husband's office, she mechanically cast a glance at her - and was stunned: the head of the family himself stood at the desk, sorting through some papers. His wife clearly saw his profile, he was dressed as he usually dressed at home …
It immediately occurred to the woman that her husband had already returned home, but somehow entered the apartment unnoticed by her. Although she perfectly understood that this could not be: after all, the front door was located next to the kitchen, where Vinokurov's wife was all this time. She hurriedly stepped into the room - and found that her husband had disappeared. And after a few seconds, he called the phone himself. Later, the researcher came to the conclusion that his double appeared in the apartment just at the moment when he began to dial his home number …
Miracles, and more! But obviously, lovers of "anomalies" really have much more chances to become heroes of mystical stories than mere mortals.
