There is one stone near Pereslavl-Zalessky, near the village of Gorodishche, which, they say, makes dreams come true.
It is called Sin - Stone. It is blue-gray in color, and slowly sinks into the ground. So if you want to make a wish near him - hurry up! For more than a hundred years it has been famous for the fact that if you stand on it, you will be cured of diseases, and your dreams will come true.
This stone is located on the shore of Lake Pleshcheevo, and its history goes back centuries. Where did he come from?
Geologists together with archaeologists have established that the first settlements in these places appeared before our era. Then there was a high hill, and at the top there was just a stone. The settlers, of course, pagans, namely the Finns, immediately deified this place.
A few centuries later they were replaced by the Slavs, and since they were also pagans, they did not touch the stone. Judging by the location, these were the northern Slavs praising Yarilo. And next to the stone a Slavic settlement grew up - Kleschi. And after a while - Pereyaslavl-Zalessky.
The Slavs took over the belief in the miraculous properties of the stone from the Finns. After some time, Russia was baptized, but the people who lived next to the stone still secretly worshiped this place and believed in miracles. No matter how much the priests did not intimidate the people, both children and old people went to him to ask for something and leave a small offering.
After some time, the church got tired of such outrage, and it was decided to throw the stone down the hill. And so it happened. And now the stone lies at the foot of the mountain. But this did not stop the people, and they continued to gather there.

In the 18th century, the churchmen burned again, and by order of Vasily Shuisky, the stone had to be buried in a hole. The order was carried out.
A few years later, the stone appeared on the surface of the earth.
In 1788, another attempt was made to hide this demonic place. Then they decided to lay the stone in the foundation of the bell tower. The stone was dug up, and on the ice of the lake they were taken by sleigh to the construction site. But it was not there. The stone fell into the water. The priests calmed down. Well, he drowned and that's it.
However, a year later, it was discovered that the top of the stone was sticking out above the water. And so for almost 40 years this stone "crawled" to the shore. By the way, this miracle weighs almost 12 tons.
Since the time the Xin-Stone returned to the ground, it became restless for him to lie there. And he began to fall down. Now you can see only a small area.
