An unusual replenishment happened in the farmyard of the Karamzin family from the village of Zalesovo, Altai Territory. There, a baby of a leopard color was born to absolutely white pigs.
- In the fall we built a barn, bought four pigs and one Duroc hog. They are all light in color. The first pig farrowed almost a week ago - on the night of March 11th. In the morning, when I came to the barn, I saw a piglet of an unusual color, and even with spots, in the middle of the cage, - recalls Natalya Karamzina. - The other five piglets, light-colored, lay against the wall. It was evident that the mother immediately abandoned the objectionable piglet and even tried to crush him.
The pig was taken to the house when they realized that he was in danger in a cage with relatives. It was then that the Karamzins realized that the baby was distinguished not only by color.
- He does not look like his relatives. He is taller and larger, his hooves are white, his eyelashes are red, and he is also calm. We put two pigs with him, which need to be fed, so they are rowdy, and this one is so smart, goes to the other side of the cage, and does not get involved with bullies, ” says the interlocutor. - By the way, he likes our snow-white domestic cat named Bunny, they are friends.
The pigs drink cow's milk with great pleasure and grow day by day.

The unusual pig got the nickname Leo. According to the girl, he acquired the leopard color from his ancestors.

- I went to veterinarians and searched the entire Internet, but I did not even find pictures of piglets that Leo looks like. It is possible that there was a gene in his blood from his ancestors, who decided to activate in this particular pig, the girl suggests. - We have two more sows, so we do not exclude that we will have more leopards.
