Discovered underground cave cities were created by people in order not only to live in them, but also to live in safety and comfort. The underground living world was equipped with a good security and ventilation system, which made it possible to instantly close all entrances from the inside and not go to the surface for a long time.
To date, there are about thirty-five such cities. These are unique ancient underground structures, up to 85 meters deep. And those that have not yet been found, but exist in legends, are perhaps located even deeper, and still keep their secrets.
Technologies for building underground cities
The volume of work is colossal, considering how much rock had to be extracted from the construction of the underground city.
The official history dates such structures, but cannot answer the question of how it is possible, given a primitive society at that time, to perform such a titanic work. This is not possible even with the current level of technology.
According to history, people barely learned how to build dwellings, but here - with primitive tools, they carved an underground city in the rock. Perhaps something or someone helped them. Or were there technologies we don't know about?

An ancient underground Peruvian city in the Andes was discovered in the seventeenth century. In 1971, an expedition was equipped to investigate this phenomenon.
At the depth of the forked passages, the expedition discovered sealed rock doors that can be easily opened using a built-in rotary device.

In 1972, explorer and writer Erich von Daniken examined an underground cave complex in Ecuador between Galaquiza and San Antonio.
His guide was Juan Moritz, a local resident who discovered this system of caves, hundreds of kilometers long.

In his book "The Gold of the Gods" Erich von Daniken tells incredible things that the guide told him when he first entered the cave through the entrance carved into the rock and went out into the tunnels of the underground city.
These tunnels had a rectangular cross-section of different heights, the surface inside them was as if covered with glaze or melted. Going down gradually down to a depth of about 240 meters, the entrance to huge halls and platforms opens.
In the center of the main spacious hall stood a large table and seven thrones made of unknown material, designed for people over two meters in height.
There he also discovers animals in the form of golden statues and a library. All books were in the form of embossed metal sheets, fastened with rings to each other.
Now Daniken's guide led him down the cave path, along which the explorers had already passed. Daniken describes what he saw: the floor was paved with stones, everything was carefully processed and polished. Reliefs in the form of animals are depicted on the walls of the caves.
It is said that after the discovery of these caves, the studies in them were carried out by the Catholic priest Carlo Crespi, with the consent of the Vatican.
It is possible that the finds in the caves are Daniken's fiction, because the photo of this city does not exist.
The true reasons for the emergence of underground cities
No one can explain why people went to live in underground cities. If they were pursued by a space threat or aggressors, then one can understand the desire of people to save their lives.
