The peculiarity of lucid dreaming is that it is much easier to get into this state than to stay in it later, that is, to maintain awareness. Usually, beginners who find themselves in such a state begin to experience an emotional upsurge and even delight, and therefore quickly return to "unawareness", losing clarity of perception and the ability to consciously act. Therefore, in order to use the unique opportunities that such states open to us, there are certain techniques that allow us to "stabilize", staying in them longer.

Today I will tell you about one such technique that was developed by the Russian researcher of out-of-body travel and lucid dreaming Mikhail Raduga, who calls such altered states of consciousness by the term "phase". For example, what you can read about this in his wonderful book “Phase. Breaking the Illusion of Reality "about his technique called" deepening ":

You, of course, understood that the "stencil" is the physical body from which the "dream body" emerges during the "phase states". Thus, by changing the position of the dreaming body to different from the position of the physical body, we prolong our state both in a lucid dream and in an out-of-body state. And the rotation around the axis really works. Well, if you are scared by this state and want to return to your physical body, then do not panic: just accept the same position in which your physical body is and you will be pulled back. To speed up this process, you can also consciously combine the dreaming body with the physical body.
