Within three days, the village of Pidhirtsi, in the Lviv region, became a place of work for researchers of paranormal phenomena.

The palace, built in this village in the seventeenth century, has long been legendary. It is not surprising that the Americans, the authors of the Ghostbusters program, became interested in the building. Their research was aimed at testing the popular legend that one can see the "damned lady" in the park - the wife of the former owner, Count Yablonovsky. They say that she fell in love with the Cossack, and after his death she disappeared to no one knows where.

There is another version of the legend - as if the count immured his unfaithful wife in the stone camps of the palace.

After spending several sleepless nights in the palace, American researchers concluded that ghosts do exist in the palace, but the evidence will be announced when the program is broadcast, which will be about six months later.

Boris Voznitsky, director of the Lviv Picture Gallery, reacted positively to this fact. He believes that such studies increase interest in Pidhaitsy and their palace, so additional funding can be counted on. Even a thousand dollars, which was paid by the Americans for the right to research, makes it possible to carry out some kind of repair work.

American ghost hunter Barry Fitzgerald, in turn, was amazed that there were more mysteries in the palace than they expected. This was shown by the supersensitive equipment used for research and recording.
