In one of the regions of Western Siberia, there are absolutely extraordinary remnants of megalithic structures made of giant stone blocks. This place is called Gornaya Shoria - a mountainous taiga region in the southern part of the Kemerovo region at the junction of Altai and Sayan.
At an altitude of more than a thousand meters, there are the ancient ruins of a lost civilization - a cyclopean structure made of vertically placed blocks, standing on a giant foundation.
The megalithic polygonal masonry of the stone wall at the top of the mountain is striking in its mass and size, the base consists of granite blocks up to 20 meters long, up to 6 meters high, the weight of which can reach more than a hundred tons.

Walls intersect at right angles. The blocks are fitted to each other without any solution, a knife cannot be inserted between the blocks, in some places the edges are so even and sharp that there is no doubt about their processing with a grinding tool.
On the stones there are many round holes up to 7 cm in diameter and small strips of 30 cm each, perhaps these are traces of a drill and cutter. Some blocks have traces of fusion, which allowed geologists to put forward a version of a thermonuclear explosion that destroyed the cyclopean structure.
The explosion is also evidenced by the giant boulders that fill the gorge and fill up the slopes of the mountain.
The members of the expeditions that explored Western Siberia and discovered the megaliths of Mountain Shoria to the world are convinced that the ruins on the territory of Siberia are an artifact of a lost civilization.
It remains a mystery how the ancient builders raised giant boulders to a great height, where the quarries were located, what technologies were used to move and process basalt blocks, what was the purpose of these structures and how old they were?
Researchers believe that the destruction of Gornaya Shoria was the result of not only a powerful thermonuclear explosion, but also very high temperatures that caused the melting of huge, hundreds of tons, basalt blocks, which seemed to "melt and flow."
This may indicate that the ancient civilization had in its armament such technologies that are not yet available to us.
Some researchers believe that thousands of years ago great civilizations lived on Earth, the level of which we have not reached today. Technologies for processing stone, moving huge objects and constructing colossal megalithic structures were far superior to modern ones.
