Indian Devendra Suthar was born with polydactyly, that is, with many fingers.
At the same time, he not only has extra fingers on his hands, he has seven fingers on each hand and foot (!).
He has two thumbs and two little fingers on his hands, one of which is underdeveloped, and on his legs there are two “index” fingers and also two little fingers.
At the moment, Devendra Sutar, with his 28 fingers, is the world record holder for the number of fingers per person. At the same time, ironically, Devendra works as a carpenter and uses tools created for an ordinary human brush.
While working, his extra fingers are sometimes injured and cause cuts, but so far, fortunately, the man has not cut off a single finger.
Devendra was recently listed in the Guinness Book of Records for having the largest number of toes in the world. And in his hometown of Himatnagar, he is known since childhood as the "man with many fingers."
In developed countries, at the birth of a baby with polydactyly, extra fingers are most often amputated in the first two years of his life. But in India it depends on the availability of money from the parents of the child - if the family is poor, then the child grows up with extra fingers.

In 2010, in the same India, a boy Akshat was born, who had 7 fingers and 10 on his feet. Then he became the world record holder, but not for long, as soon he was lucky and the extra fingers were cut off in the hospital.
Polydactyly is often hereditary, but in Devendra's family, except him, no one else has a similar anomaly. Nor does his two children have it.
Because of the multiple fingers, it is difficult for a man to find suitable shoes, and he is also afraid all the time that he will accidentally be injured. Nevertheless, his condition does not cause him discomfort, he is not ashamed of it and does not consider it ugliness.
