During a tour of Dudley Castle, a couple from Birmingham, UK, took several pictures, unaware that the legendary ghost, the Gray Lady, was in the frame along with the ruins.

Last week, a family from the British city of Birmingham, Dean and Amy Harper with three children, visited the famous Dudley Castle, located in the West Midlands. This castle is a popular attraction among tourists, because, according to legends, a terrible ghost - the Gray Lady - lives in it.

However, Dean and Amy's goal was not to chase the legendary ghost, but to familiarize themselves with the oldest fortress, in which the Queen of Scots, Mary was allegedly imprisoned, according to the Birmingham Mail.

Parents took several pictures of the ruins left over from buildings built in the middle of the 16th century, walked through the territory of the once powerful fortress and ended the tour there. After returning home, Dean and Amy began to view images obtained with the help of mobile phones when they noticed a strange figure caught in the frame.

Upon closer examination, the couple realized that they had managed to capture a gray shadow in the form of a woman and a child. The couple believe that she accidentally filmed the appearance of the legendary Gray Lady, who has been stirring the imagination of local residents for several centuries.

“We went to the castle ruins to take pictures of the remaining parts of the building,” says Dean Harper. - Looking through the images, Amy saw a strange light in one of the openings, as if breaking through from the upper level. When we enlarged the picture, we realized that there was a woman in the arch, and a little girl was standing next to her. None of us are ghost hunters, but it seems to us that here everything is clear - in the picture the Gray Lady."

According to the Mirror tabloid, according to legend, the spirit of Dorothy Beaumont is wandering in the castle, who died with her little daughter shortly after giving birth. On her deathbed, Dorothy asked for two things: she wanted to be buried next to her daughter, and prayed that her husband would be present at the funeral. Locals say that none of these desires were ever fulfilled, so her unrepentant spirit still wanders around Dudley Castle.
