The other day we wrote about a mysterious porcelain doll, which was acquired at a charity sale by 50-year-old Debbie Merrick from the English city of King's Lynn. The woman and her family claim that the toy is possessed by evil forces and is likely a threat to people.

As soon as the doll appeared in the family's house, inexplicable things began to happen there. In the absence of the owners, things began to fall from the tables and shelves. The fire alarm began to turn on by itself. At night, the British constantly hear in their home the quiet stamping of small feet. And more recently, the father of the family, 50-year-old Cameron, woke up and found many thin scratches on his leg, left as if by someone's tiny claws.

The Merricks claim that they planned to get rid of the toy, but after British journalists wrote about this story, the damned thing became famous, and the owners decided not to part with it. Last Friday, Debbie and Cameron were even invited to the morning television program "This Morning", which is very popular in the United Kingdom. The couple brought with them a sensational doll, and the studio staff sat the ominous toy in a rocking chair.

Hosts Ruth Langsford and Eamonn Holmes were quietly chatting with the guests when the doll suddenly began to sway in the chair. Slowly, but quite noticeable. Those present reacted with laughter. “Please stop this,” Langsford asked the doll.

Needless to say, many viewers did not believe in such mysticism. Firstly, the presenters for some reason were not at all afraid of the "spontaneous" movement of the chair. Secondly, it seems that the toy was specially put on a rocking chair, and not on an ordinary chair, in order to arrange this performance. And thirdly, why did the Merrick keep this item at all, if it is potentially dangerous for them? Maybe this whole story is a big hoax? However, look and judge for yourself …

A small note: the staff of the TV program "This Morning" assure that they did not stage any performance, everything happened by itself, and the rocking chair was just a find of the program director, who thought that thanks to the rocking chair, the doll would quickly reveal its otherworldly essence. And he was right …
