There is evidence that Russia knew about the existence of extraterrestrial civilizations several decades ago. The first contact with aliens in the USSR allegedly took place back in 1942.
It is said that in 1969 a UFO crashed in the Sverdlovsk region, which was later restored by the Soviet military. A dead alien was found in the aircraft. The UFO and the "alien" corpse were taken to a secret facility, where the flying saucer was examined, and the alien was opened.
This became known from the TV program "The Secret UFO Files of the KGB", broadcast on the American TNT channel in 1998. The program, hosted by British actor Roger Moore (one of the performers of the role of Agent 007), showed video and photographic materials designed to confirm the veracity of the story.
It is believed that a special unit of the KGB was engaged in the collection and monitoring of all information about the mysterious and inexplicable phenomena that have become known inside and outside the Soviet Union.
There are unconfirmed reports that the UFO crashed or was shot down near the town of Prokhladny (Kabardino-Balkaria) on August 10, 1989 and was taken to the air base in Mozdok. Inside were found two dead aliens and another slightly alive. The doctors failed to save him.
All three creatures were between 1.2 and 1.5 m in height. They wore gray uniforms, and their blue-green skin resembled reptile scales. The aliens were hairless, had large black eyes and long limbs with webbed feet. The bodies were taken to Kapustin Yar. However, the ufologists who were the first to declare this did not have any documents in support of their history.
